"That's nice, you wanna live in the interior do you?" Shadis said in a calmer tone

"Yes!" Jean said with a smile only to be met with a head but, causing him to fall on his knees in pain

"No one told you to sit recruit! It you can handle this kirstein then forget about joining the military police!" Shadis shouted as he moved onto his next victim, Adina zoning out for what she fought was a second only to find Shadis holding a scrawny boy with a buz cut by his head

Suddenly, the entire place went quiet as a crunching sound was heard, both Adina and Annie turning around along with the other cadets to see a brunette munching on a potato, prompting Shadis to drop the boy he was holding

"Hey, you there, what are you doing?" Shadis said as he made his way over to the brunette who glanced from side to side before taking another bite

"You are officially on my shit list! Just who the hell are you?!"

"Sasha braus from damper village at your service! Reporting for duty sir!"

"Sasha Braus huh? And what is that you're clutching in your right hand?"

"A steamed potato! It sat there in the mess hall begging to be eaten. Sir!"

"The theft, i understand, but here? Why eat it here of all places?"

"It looked quite delicious and it was getting cold. So I decided to give it shelter in my stomach. Sir"

At that Adina had to cover her mouth as to not alert the commander of her amusement "this is what the world is so afraid of?"

"Why? I can't comprehend why would you eat that potato?"

"Uh..are you asking me why people eat potatoes? I'm surprised you don't know sir." Sasha said, sense Shadis was angry, she began to fumble with her potato, trying to rip it in half but ultimately splitting it into one large peice and a smaller one

"Here sir, have half"'She stated giving him the much smaller piece

"Half?" Shadis questioned, only to be met with a lazy smile from Sasha

"That was funny" Adina said as her and Annie walked alongside eachother
"Yeah, it was" the blonde noted, a small smile evident on her face

"Well, I'm gonna go unpack, see ya annie" Adina said as she waved goodbye to her friend, making her way towards the dorms

"Whys the hallway so long" She thought as she opened the door to her dorm room knowing that most of the cadets were socialising in the mess hall which would give her a quiet space to pack

As she made her way in, Adina couldn't help but let out a small gasp as she stared at the girl infront of her

"Oh shit! You're still alive?!" She questioned as she looked at Ymir who wore the same wide eyed and open mouthed look, the two girls bursting out laughing

"What the hell are you doing here?" Ymir said through laughs
"What the hell are you doing here?!" Adina said as she tried to stop giggling

"I'm glad a random titan didn't eat you" She sighed as she looked around the dorm confirming no one was there and closing the door

"Same here, it sure was a long way from where we met, I don't know how you even managed to reach the wall" Ymir chuckled
"I don't know either" Adina shrugged

"Still not gonna rat me out?" Ymir smiled
"Nah, I like you" Adina hummed as the two sat down on one of the bunks

"You gonna rat me out?" Adina questioned
"No, I like you too" the brunette shrugged
