Ellie walked into the basement as she saw Meredith and Cristina and frowned. She had been in the ER most of morning and she felt like death

"You look weird" Cristina said

"Says you. Have you seen your face" Ellie said as Cristina rolled her eyes

"I meant without csssie. Meredith has mess" Cristina said as Meredith glared

"You can tell her she's one of us" Cristina said as Meredith showed her a pregnancy test as Ellie frowned

"No way. Your...oh my god" Ellie said

"I know" Meredith said

"Are you happy? I mean you aren't going to go all dark and twisty Meredith?" Ellie asked as Cristina smiled

"She's got a point" Cristina said as Meredith smiled

"Okay. Well congratulations" Ellie said as she hugged her and smiled

"Have you told him?"  Cristina asked

"No I just found out"

"You have to tell him and not just that he's a stepdad to Chloe well ex but still. Derek will be a great father" Ellie said as Cristina nodded

"What she said" Cristina said as the pagers started to beep

"Another trauma I have to go" Ellie said as she walked off to the ER

Ellie walked into the trauma room as she saw Jackson and looked to him

"Start another I.V. Get an 18-gauge." Jackson said

"What do we got?" Owen asked as he followed them inside

"Get ready to move him" Jackson said

Ellie stood scribbling in as she looked to Cassie as she walked in and smiled "hey. You scrubbing out" Ellie asked

"Out I've been in with Arizona since 5am. Have you seen mark I need to go over a case with him" Cassie said as ellie frowned

"Should I be worried over you and my brother I mean you broke up for a reason" Ellie asked as Cassie looked to her and smiled

"I know but you don't need to worry I can handle it" Cassie said as ellie looked to her and smiled

"As long as you are sure I mean your my best friend and yeah mark is my brother and I love him but your my person and I love you more and if I have too I will kick his ass" Ellie said as Cassie chuckled

"That I believe" Cassie said

Ellie stood working on trauma with Jackson. Ellie knew that things were complicated between them and how they had been hooking up but she also knew the complications of it and how she didn't want anyone to know

He was her friend and they had feelings for each other and she had no idea how to express it
