It's been a great couple days since letting the secret out to our families that were together. She met my friends and they all confirmed they think she's great I met her friends yesterday and she told me they all think I'm great so everything is looking up! Today is when it can all potentially come crashing down on us though because today is when we go public with the news. It will be ran by our dads but we will have to be on stage with them this way we can put our input out there and potentially answer questions. Thankfully gabe won't be part of it cause no offense to him I don't need him ruining things or convincing people to think negatively about us. I got up and put on a white button up shirt and black pants paired with my white vans and headed out with my dad and we met up with lauren and her dad as soon as we got to the conference center.
C- you look beautiful baby
L- thank you you look very handsome
C- haha thank you you ready to do this
L- as ready as I'll ever be
C- it will be ok
I grabbed her hand and we walked inside and took our place in the chairs on the stage as our dads were at the podium talking to my packs news crew as well as hers. All they basically said was how were mates and how it's time to put any and all differences aside so we can be together and then we were asked if there was anything we wanted to say. Lauren looked nervous and she said no there wasn't but I had something to say so I kept holding her hand and walked her over to the podium with me.
C- I don't have a lot to say I just want to make it clear as I am the future alpha for the full moon runners she will be the future Luna and if it comes down to it I will step away from leading and being alpha and we will start our own pack if people can not get on board with this and I will protect her with every fiber of my being so keep that in mind if any one has something bad to say
Reporter1- if you step away who will lead full moon runners
C- no clue that won't be my concern if that's what it comes to
I answered a few more questions then our dads ended the meeting and when we were off stage I pulled Lauren to me and kissed her like my life depended on it. When we pulled away she was blushing like crazy and giggling which I thought was adorable
L- what was that for
C- I just love you and in case my words up there didn't prove it I know that would
L- you don't have to prove anything I know you love me and I love you too I love you so much
C- good
L- I do have a question tho
C- hmm
L- if it comes down to starting our own pack how would we do that
C- take our supporters with us but most importantly I meant like starting a family
L- are we ready to go that far
C- I am but i will wait as long as you need but I do want to have a family with you I want you to have my baby or babies
L- I'm glad you're willing to wait I'm not saying I'm not ready to do that yet and I'm not saying I am but I'm glad you're willing to wait and don't worry we will definitely have a family one day
C- good
She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist and kissed her some more until our dads came over to us.
S- hate to break up the love fest but we're done here we will be going to the alpha community center to write up a new treaty that allows us all to go back and forth and such
C- do we have to be there for that
T- not really we can just have you look over it before we sign it to make it official
C- that works
We took one of the cars to her home cause I wasn't about to make her walk in her heels and with the skirt she has on it would be hard to give a piggy back ride. As soon as we walked in we were faced with her brother and his buddies.
G- well you'd be happy to know everyone seems to be overjoyed with you two being mates which means you'll get to live happily ever after congratulations
C- so I see someone still hasn't grown up and gotten over his petty problem with us being together
G- don't talk to me like that
L- he's not wrong gabe
G- this is just not fair why do you always get everything you want but I have to fight for everything
L- what the hell are you talking about
G- I'm talking about how once again the princess gets her way
L- I caught on to that part but I mean why
G- none of your business
L- if you're going to keep having a tantrum and going out of your way to try and destroy my relationship I'd say it is my business
Dana- dude just tell her
Dav- you've been keeping it from her for long enough
L- keeping what from me
G- I found my mate ok I found her shortly after I turned 18 and similar to you two she was from your pack cole do you know who Alex is
C- yeah I know who she is
G- she was my mate and I didn't know how to tell our parents yet but I told them and she told her parents and they didn't like the idea of our packs co mingling like that let alone their daughter being future Luna of their opposing pack so she listened to them and rejected me so I think it's bullshit that once again miss princess gets her happy ending
And with that gabe ran upstairs to I'm guessing his room.
L- I'll be right back
She quickly ran upstairs following him and I stood there awkwardly in front of his friends.
Dav- we wouldn't dare say this in front of gabe but you're good for Lauren you make her happier than we've ever seen her
Dana- gabe will come around he's just been having lots of flashbacks to his situation so he's been taking it out on you two and that's not fair I know but now you guys get why
C- it definitely makes sense now and it makes me feel bad for talking to him the way I have and such
Soon enough Lauren and gabe came back down and he seemed better and she had makeup smeared which was clear she cried while being up there so I immediately took her in my arms and kissed the top of her head.
G- I want to apologize you didn't deserve the way I treated your relationship because I had a bad experience you honestly make me sister so happy I'm not going to ruin that
C- I appreciate that and I want to apologize too for talking to you the way I did
G- I get it and honestly I deserved it
I let go of Lauren and me and gabe did a bro hug which threw me for a loop but it was needed.
G- do you guys want to hang with us
C- sure
I sat down on the couch and she sat on my lap while we talked and laughed with gabe and the guys for the rest of the day.
