The sky was clear, but the clouds were thick. The wind was smooth. The quiet hum of the Idaho coupled with the slight rattle of the wings were very peaceful. But MacKenzie was not satisfied with this. The scenery, the skies, the feeling. It did feel good to him, but he wanted to really test the Idaho. I wonder what type of jams he has in here. MacKenzie thought. He turned on the radio, and immediately, the radio reacted with the song Misty rain by Back-On. The Idaho started to glide with the wind. Then twirl. Round and around it went. The rainbow colored coolant discharge brung the whole operation together. The vibe coupled with the song, it was a feeling of joy. Immense pride. He felt patriotic for something that didn't even exist. He felt fun. He felt free. So this is the spirit of Kenji03.

"Kid, I have to tell you something." said Kenji. Ash turned to face Kenji. He raised his eyebrows. "I knew MacKenzie already." Visible shock went on Ash's face.
"Wait... how?"
"Because... you know A-Proud, right?"
"Yeah I do."
"A-Proud is my brother."
"Yeah I know."
"You know A-Proud worked with MacKenzie at that old chop-shop."
"Wait, you're talking about the Vismo parts shop?"
"Yeah."
There was silence for a while. Then came the next question. "Why was A-Proud even there?"
"To get MacKenzie into Hoshino."
Ash chuckled and said, "you wanted to get MacKenzie into the Institute? Why?"
"I wanted him to follow after me."
Ash looked dumbfounded. There was again another long period of silence. Then the statement, "so you want him to be your pawn. Is this why you gave him your Vismo?" said Ash.
"No." Kenji said, shaking his head. "I should've never told you this because I knew you would take it too far. I would've scouted you too y'know."
"What do you mean by 'scout'?"
"I didn't get arrested. I was never arrested."
Ash had a shocked look on his face. He couldn't believe the words that he heard. His ears, he felt, were lying to him.
"Why didn't you tell us in the first place? And why are you even here?"
"Because... you wouldn't trust me anyways."
"There is no need to lie." said Ash, sounding sure and confident.
"I'm sorry. I'll tell MacKenzie later."
Ash looked ahead. There was no sign of the Idaho. He wondered where it may be. "Look," Kenji sighed, "call the Idaho. Its number should be 208IVD." Ash messed around with a bunch of buttons, all sorts of menus, and brought up the VIKK Identification System. "My Vismo doesn't have that system." said Kenji. "Don't worry, it has back compatibility." Ash said the number and letter combo, and the screen brought up the information of the Idaho. "Call the Idaho." commanded Ash. There was a dinging sound from the speakers, then a ringing noise. He had no idea if it would work or not.

Chiring Chiring.

A loud ringtone came from the Idaho with a message displayed on the screen. Ash was calling him. He answered.
"Hello?" said MacKenzie.
"Hey man, where are you?"
"Dude I just flew through a whole building!" exclaimed MacKenzie.
"You flew through a what?" said Ash.
"The Idaho can do that." interjected Kenji.
"Okay, what are yall even calling me for?"
"Kenji needs to tell you something."
Kenji kept silent for a while then said, "yeah I do."
"Okay what is it?"
"So you know my brother, and I know you."
"Oh yeah he's Kuriyama."
"No, I'm Kuriyama. He took my name."
Ash looked disgusted once more. "And you didn't tell me that?!" exclaimed Ash.
"Why did he take your name?"
"So you wouldn't suspect it was me. At the time, we agreed to meet each other, but I couldn't get the Idaho to work. I lied about getting arrested too."
"I know."
"How did you suspect?"
"Because I had a sneaky suspicion that you weren't arrested. If you were, you wouldn't be here right now,"
Kenji didn't respond. He knew the kid was smart. But how smart was he really?
"You're pretty dang smart."
"I know."
Ash was tracking the location of the Idaho. "You feel like me, don't you kid?" "Yeah, I feel like you when you were the Sky Walker." Kenji slightly nodded, acting like MacKenzie could see him. Kenji was not at all surprised by these revelations. After all, he knew Kenji could see through the lies and deception that they might have told him at the Institute. Kenji didn't very much fancy them anyways. They lied to him, he could lie to them back. But one thing was for certain, Kenji still had a play in the cards. He came from a high family. Connected to the Kamikis through cousins. Kenji didn't like to be related to them, but it was a fact. But Sekai hated him since childhood. Him and his brother. They were rivals ever since A-Proud was a teenager. When the new Sekai took over, the arguing had come to a head. That's how Kenji got banished and terminated from the Institute. Ash and MacKenzie were listening to this banter that Kenji had settled on. All of the past drama was still deep down in his heart. After all, it was his family still. But family nonetheless, they had broken him to pieces, Took anything that he had and sent him to Earth. Here, he could rebuild his life. Here, he thought about taking over the Institute by defeating the Kamiki's in a tournament, like the old days. They weren't called duels, they were whole matches that lasted for 4 hours each. That's what Kenji longed for, but those days were gone. Gone and obscured by whatever the Headmaster Kamiki told his fellow servants. "You're acting like you live in the 16th century somewhere. Get your head out of the gutter." quipped Ash. Kenji gave him a quick look, then chuckled. "Was I saying this aloud?" "Yes." both Ash and MacKenzie said together. Kenji chuckled once more. He didn't know.
