Linda's Interview
"And your son? Ransom, did he attend as well?", Lieutenant Elliot then asked Linda Drysdale, reading off his notes.
"Yes! But he left early", Linda answered.
A note then played from the room, drawing her attention to a man sitting in the corner of the room by the piano.
"Right, uhm", Elliot gained her attention back again. "Would you say that all of you showed up around the same time."
"Nnn-No", Linda drew her attention from the man by the piano back to the detectives. "Richard came early to help the caterers set up."
"But, you said the three of you showed up?", Elliot questioned confused, looking to his notes to check if he was in the wrong.
"Yes!", Linda nodded.
As the Lieutenants face seemed to get more confused by the second she quickly continued on with her answer.
"I arrived with Ransom and Amber", Linda told the three men in the room before her.
"Amber?", the other detective in the room asked confused.
"My sons girlfriend, pretty thing", Linda spoke quickly, doing hand gestures. "She goes by Chanel to everyone but family."
Finishing her sentence by pointing at a picture that was on top of one of the desks, showcasing a picture from a photoshoot that Amber and Ransom did.
It surprised everyone when they actually showed up to the family event that day for a family photo shoot, they had done many as just the two of them, but it was surprising to show up to one with everyone there.
"Mrs Von Tussle", Elliot realized, having seen her face alongside her family's name in the newspapers a few times.
The Von Tussle family were quite well known being an old money family, they were super famous but they frequented in the more classy aspects of life.
Like the galas, races and country clubs, it was sort of how Ransom and Amber met, being that they were both the 'black sheep's' of their families.
The Bad Eggs.
The ones that you wouldn't bring up in conversation to gloat about, unless it was about their good looks.
They were nice to look at, thats for sure, but you wouldn't bring them up in conversation for their achievements or anything like that.
"Did she leave early with Ransom?", he then asked.
"I mean, she was already ready to leave before their fight with the way my brother was acting, poor girl", Linda shrugged off a wave of disgust. "If she'd drove here that night i'm sure she would have been the first one out with his antics."
