When Solitaire came back to their shared suite he expected Lore-Val to be asleep in bed. Instead she was still dressed in her training clothes, sitting at the foot of the bed with a blue-green helmet in her hands.

"What do you got there?" he asked her as he went looking for his sleep clothes.

"This was my mother's armor." Solitaire stopped what he was doing to watch her. She didn't move, just kept staring into the helmet's slanted eyes, "She wore it when she and my father were on the run."

"Bo-Katan gave it to you?"

She nodded, "I'd only seen it a few times before. She kept it packed in a special case and would only take it out to clean it," She looked up at him, "Bo-Katan wants to have it sized and forged to fit me."

"That's...an honor."

She nodded. "It is. First I need to decide what changes I want to make. Do you think you could help me?"

"Sure," he came over to sit next to her, "I mean I'd have to see the whole kit, but what were you thinking?"

She traced her finger along the lines of the visor, "I know I want a 'T' visor like you have. And I was thinking about kamas."

"Kamas are a fashion statement not protection."

"Actually kamas are meant to protect against jet-pack downdraft."

"Do you even know how to use a jetpack?"

"I'm a fast learner."

Solitaire smiled at her, and placed a hand on her shoulder, "You are. Go find a stylus, we have some planning to do."

. . .

Lore-Val handed a datapad to Bo-Katan. The screen showed a crude drawing of a warrior's armor. It was the same classic design as most women's armor with only a few major changes. The vambraces in the picture came closer to the elbows and the plating that would cover her thighs had also been extended. The most obvious difference was the kama skirts that were set at the front and back rather than the traditional side orientation.

"Sisters of the Night Owls don't wear T-visiors," Bo-Katan said with a frown.

"No, but clones do."

Bo-Katan rolled her eyes, "You aren't a clone."

"No, but my vode (brothers) are."

"Fine," Bo-Katan couldn't be bothered to keep fighting about this, "You can't have beskar kamas."

"I was thinking of having the beskar woven in like in the old days. It wouldn't need to be carbonized like the rest of the kit either. But I'd settle for leather if I have to"

"I know a metal worker on Concordia who can weave beskar, I'll send the sketch to her and see what she can do," She zoomed in on the helmet, "Do you have your colors chosen? The paint sticks best if you apply it right after forging."

Lore-Val nodded, and swiped to another page on the datapad. This one showed the same armor only in color this time. Most of the armor was gray, with blue and orange popping out against it.

"Start getting your paints together and we'll have your first sizing as soon as we can." Bo-Katan held up the datapad, "I'm going to hang onto this. I'll see who I can enlist into helping us."
