"There's not a lot of space in the house," Remus finally responded. "But if she's fine sharing a room with you, then she's welcome to come stay with us if she needs to."

"Thank you!" Claire exclaimed, smiling even though she was worried as to why the girl couldn't stay with her parents. Lyall handed her a paper and quill and she hurried to respond and get the owl off of Draco's head.

"Let me see it," Remus instructed. Claire handed him the letter and he read it over again, Sirius peeking over his shoulder. The owl let out an angry hoot and landed on Remus' knee, once again refusing to move.

"Reggie and I can pick her up tonight if she's able to make it by then," Sirius offered.

"Just offer me up, I guess," Regulus said sarcastically, but everyone knew that he didn't actually care. Claire guessed that he still felt like he needed to prove himself, so he was willing to do more things to help. Sirius rolled his eyes at his brother and finished writing his response, the owl happily flying away.

"All of you remember that if the house gets too crowded, my door is always open," Lyall reminded everyone.

"We know," Remus assured his dad. The elderly Lupin pretended to roll his eyes at his son.

"Then come see me more often," Lyall complained. Remus looked a little sheepish because he knew that he had been coming over less and less.

"Don't worry, Lyall," Sirius grinned, throwing his arm over the man's shoulder. "You can never get rid of me."

"Shit."

"Happy birthday!"

In similar fashion to the most recent birthday, Claire woke up to a scream and the sound of a body falling off the bed.

"Merlin, Draco!" Claire gasped, looking over the side of the bed to see him rubbing his hip where he had fallen. "I'm sorry, love!"

"I guess I should have known better," Draco said with a sheepish grin. He hurried to sit on the side of the bed, connecting their lips. Claire giggled and pulled him down so she was laying down and he was over her. They forgot where they were for a moment, her hands slipping under his shirt when the sound of the door opening made them pull apart.

"I live here too now, remember?" Hermione asked teasingly. Draco collapsed on top of Claire, making her huff and groan.

"Cockblock," Draco complained. Claire rolled her eyes and finally got to where she could push him off of her, making him fall on the floor again. Luckily for all of them, now that they were outside of Hogwarts, Hermione and Draco got along much better than anyone expected.

"I covered for you two last night!" Hermione reminded them.

"Covered for them for what?"

Draco and Claire's heads both whipped over to the door at Sirius' voice, both of them sighing in relief when it was just Regulus.

"Don't be mean to me on my birthday," Claire complained, pouting at her friends. She then smiled at them. "I can finally do magic!"

"What is your first legal spell going to be?" Draco asked, standing up and stretching. He cursed when he found himself suddenly in the air and upside down. "This isn't fair!"

"I think it's funny!" Claire laughed, standing up and giving him a kiss on the lips before walking right past him. "'Mione, do you have the-"

"Already ahead of you," Hermione smirked, grabbing her muggle camera and taking a picture. Claire grinned at the image of an unhappy Draco when it printed.
