Chapter 1: Where it all began.

Katheryn has assigned a task for you that you now have to collect more information about.

As you were walking along a pathway to Sumeru, You suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice that sounded like a man in agony. You were unsure whether you should;

(A) Go investigate the commotion 

(B) Continue on your journey

But before you could make your own decision, Paimon your favorite emergency food..urhm i mean travel guide! suddenly had an idea and said.

"Paimon thinks we should check out what that commotion is about and it sounds serious too!".

  She then tries to pull your hand as a sign that we should follow her. As you protested that we shouldn't go and it could be dangerous but she got too carried away with her curiosity to even pay attention to what you just said. You then reach further to the racket, getting louder and louder every step till it's clear to hear what it is about. You started to see two groups of tall muscular women, Paimon then tapped your shoulder and pointed at the second group.  

"Hey traveler (reader), Don't you think that group kinda looks a lot like Eremite Galehunters and Scorching Loremasters? But what are they doing out here attacking those people? it doesn't make sense!" 

You then looked at Paimon and hit her head.

"Paimon be quiet!, do you really want us to get caught by them?!" You loudly whispered to her but not loud enough for the group to hear you. 

"WAIT I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO PLEASE DON'T KILL ME SPARE ME HAVE MERCY ON ME I BEG OF YOU!!"

Said the man on the ground with his big baggage full of precious items laid around scattered with his eyes full of tears. You looked closer at the man to see his appearance, he looked about 6 feet tall, his hair as dark as night with his unique glasses and an albino ball python slithering around his neck. 

"You really think I would spare a disgusting creature like you? after all the things you stole let alone how you betrayed us?!" 

Pointing her weapon at his face and started throwing some things at him.

"DO YOU REALLY THINK AN APOLOGY IS GOING TO FIX THIS??!! well you have got another this coming...Rune." Her eyes were full of rage, she was ready to attack him and get things over with until..

Snap! Crack! 

Paimon accidentally leaned on a brittle branch causing both of your covers to be exposed. You both decided to make a run for it until you looked behind you to see one of the tall women behind you. 

AN: ( if you want to throw her to them and make a run for it that option is very much available ;] )

"Well hello there darling~? Do you really think I'll let you go after seeing all of this? Hm?"

AN: (soo ya'll hear me out please yk.)

Paimon interrupted "We are sorry ma'am we didn't see anything we were just leaving!..."

The woman looks at Paimon annoyed. "I wasn't talking to you child.  I was talking to them (reader)"

"..."

The Woman looked at you up and down. 

"Well you don't look like you are from here.. but! that doesn't matter right now, what matters right now is you finding out what happened here and~..."
