Manik and nandini were in car. Manik was thinking how to
say sorry to her on behalf of aliya. On the other hand
nandini was thinking how to pay rishab's treatment cost the
next day.
NANDINI'S POV
Kaise manage karu paise?? Manik sir se bhi nahi mang
sakti. Pehlehi kya kam pareshani horahiha unko meri
wajase aur wasebhi yeh meri problem ha aur ma isse khud
handle karungi. But is month ki salary hath me aneme bhi
ek week aur baki ha, kal doctor se jakar bat karungi ke
mujhe money deposit karneme ek week aur lagega
Nandini's thoughts were interrupted when manik hit the
brakes and stopped the car in the parking lot. Nandini got
down from the car and went inside without saying anything
to manik. Manik also got down and followed her. Nandu
went upstairs while manik took a glance of his dadi who
was sleeping in her room. Then manik went to his bedroom
and found nandu was in the washroom. He sat on the bed
resting his back on a pillow and closed his eyes for
sometime. He needed peace, fresh air and sleep without any
depression.
When nandu came out of the washroom she found manik
sleeping on a sitting position. His hands crossed across his
chest and head was touching the wall and a pillow was
supporting his back. His one leg was over another leg and
still he was wearing the party clothes. Nandu went up to
him. For about 5 minutes she kept on thinking whether to
wake him up or not. She was admiring him, he looked so
innocent while sleeping she said to herself. Unknowingly
nandu started to smile while admiring manik, his eyes, hair,
lips perfect body... every thing was perfect. He was a man
any girl would dream for but she wasn't that girl for him,
nandu thought. She saw manik's phone was vibrating on the
bedside table. It was a text from cabir. Nandini didn't open
the text rather kept it on the coffee table so that manik
doesn't feel any disturbance during his sleep. Next the thing
she did was opened his shoes and socks carefully keeping
in mind that manik doesn't get up. Then she slowly put his
legs back on the bed. After that being more careful nandu
first thought to help manik lie down. But then she thought
this will disturb him as he was in deep sleep though sitting.
So instead of making him lie down she switched the lights
off and then put the blanket over him which covered till his
waist. She was about to go but her a button of her kurti's
handpart was stuck with maniks shirts button. Nandu bent
down to fix it . she was feeling something different being
close to manik though he was asleep. But this feeling was
always with her whenever she was with manik. She was
trying hard to free it from maniks button but it seemed that
fate wanted nandu to accept her feelings for manik that
night. Unknowingly in sleep manik holded nandu's hand .
she felt current through her body feeling his touch. She was
sitting on her knees and staring at manik. How can
someone be so much handsome she thought. She couldn't
resist herself from caressing his hair lightly . nandu didn't
even realize when she was asleep while staring at manik.
NEXT MORNING
It was 5 am in the morning, manik opened his eyes feeling
uncomfort because of wearing the party heavy clothes. He
found himself in a sitting position and a blanket on half of
him. Then his eyes went to his left side and saw nandini
sitting on the floor and manik was holding her one hand and
she was resting her head on manik and hers entwined hand.
She was looking like a baby he thought. Anyone would fall
for this sleeping beauty he thought. Manik carefull freed his
hand from under her head and got down from bed. Then he
picked her up in his arms and put her on the bed so that she
could have some peacefull sleep. His eyes fell on her
innocent angelic face. Her pink licious lips, one two of her
hair strings were falling on her lips. He bent down and
removed those strings from her lips. His eyes were not
moving from her face. He came a bit more close to her.. her
lips were bringing his closer and more closer like magnet...
he wanted so much to touch then but moved back as soon
as he came back to sense
Nandini woke up stretching her hands... She looked here
and there and found herself on the bed.she was confused
cause she remembered that manik was on the bed and right
now he was nowhere to be seen. She got down from the bed
and checked the washroom.. he wasn't even there. Then
she looked the time it was 9 am ...
N=shit..itna late hogaya kaise..
Nandu quickly took a shower and changed herself in a kurti
and jeans. Then she came downstairs and checked dadi.
Servant told she was sleeping after her breakfast, nandini
inquired about manik . the servant told that he left the house
early in the morning and didn't have breakfast. Nandini felt
bad that manik didn't eat and he didn't like the food of office
as well ... she decided to take tiffin for him but before that
there was one more place where she needed to go...the
hospital
HOSPITAL
N=hello doctor
D=nandini, hii...
N=sorry um late a bit..doctor wo actually I needed to talk to
u. actually doctor um sorry mujhe salary abhi tak nahi mili
ha ..but ma next week tak money deposit kardungi hospital
me...
D=uski zarurat nahi ha, tumhare husband ne already
kardiya ha...
Nandini was surprised. Manik??
N=husband??
D=yes, manik khud aya ha subhah subhah and gave us the
check aur kaha ke abse har month ki first date ko wo
money deposit kardega..wo abhi rishab ke sath ha tum
millo rishab se ma abhi aya
Nandini always knew manik was a great human being..but
right now she started to respect him even more and more.
Nandini came to rishabs cabin and slightly opened the door
. she saw manik was feeding rishab soup. Both of them
looked so happy with eachother. Rishab saw nandini and
smiled, seeing him smiling manik turned around and saw
her standing.without saying anything he continued to feed
rishab. Nandini came and hugged her brother. Maniks
phone rang and he went outside to talk.
M=yes aliya bolo
A=baby were are u?? I came to ur office but ur still not here
M=aliya, um busy outside...aj office aneme der hojayegii
A=manik..can we meet?? Please... um sorry what
happened last night but please can u forgive me??
M=its okay
A=thanks...then aj sham mere gharpar??? Mana mat karna

Manik didn't say yes nor no just cut the call. He turned
around and saw nandini who was hiding her gaze..seeing
him looking at her she started to speak
N=thank u sir... thank u very much. Aj apkeliye meri izzat
aur bhi bar gayi... ma janti hu sir ke meri wajase apki life
kitni complicated ban chuki ha phir bhi apne mere aur mere
bhai ke lie yeh sab kia...sir I will always be grateful to u ...I
swear sir... mere pass apko dene keliye kuch nahi ha. Apne
mujhe bohot kuch diya ha par mane humesha apko dukh
diya ha sir, apki pareshaniya barayiha... sir ma apse wada
nahi karsakti par ha mere bass me jab bhi hoga ma wo sab
karungi jisse apki chehrepar wo purane wali hasi wapas
ajaye..sir aap chahe to mere salary me se yeh sare money
kat sakte ha par ma janti hu ap esa nahi karenge, kyuki
apke lie rishto ke ehmiyat paiso se kahi zyada ha aur pyaar
ki koi kimat nahi ha. Main sirf apse yehi kehna chahungi,

Manik didn't know what to say. She made him feel special
and exceptional. She always managed to praise him..though
he did so much wrong to her but she was always for him,
and today she herself said that. He was becoming more and
more frustrated day by day...
On the other hand nandini was very happy and smiling...
she turned around and started to walk... she was feeling on
the top of the world.. yesterdays aliya's words whether she
loved manik or not , today she had the answer. Yes she
loved manik without any expectations.. she loved him. He
was god to her, always there to protect her, help her, beside
her. No matter how much she had hurt him, caused trouble
to him still he was there for her today. She was very happy.
She knew that fact that manik didn't love her , there marrige
was of only a contract or some kind of compromise but for
nandini it was only her love for manik and for this love she
was smiling and ready to bear anything which would come
upon her...
Manik came out of the hospital and was still thinking of
nandu's words.
MANIK'S POV
Why things are so much complicated?? I really don't know
that why I helped her, last night when I heard her talking to
the doctor and heard about her problems coudnt resist
myself from helping her. Her brother, he's really sick... kya
dadi sach kehrahithi??? Ke nandini ne yeh sab sirf apni bhai
ke liye kia na ki meri paiso keliye.. but humari shadi sirf ek
compromise ha, ek jhoot ha phir kyu wo mere lie itna karti
ha, har ilzam, aliya ke bate sabk nafrat aur mujhe tolerate
karti ha,... shes fulfiling her every duty towards this
marrige.. she has accepted this marrige aur main?
Maniks thoughts were interrupted when his phone beeped.
Baby were are you?? Come soon na, missing you"aliya
Manik was thinking whether he should go or not?? Finally he
decided that he will go to aliya's house. Meanwhile nandini
was very much happy. She was in the office arranging
manik's desk... normally she used to do her blablarring
while arranging maniks messy desk but today she was
smiling and blushing while doing this..at that time maniks
desk phone rang. It was cabir

Nandu realized she was being too much happy and blushing
a lot. She contolled her smile

N=nahi sir...wo office me nahi ha. Aj wo office nahi aye ek

Aliya's place
Manik was sitting on the couch. Though he was at aliyas
place still his mind was somewhere else, thinking about
nandini, there marrige. Manik was remembering his wedding
moments. When he and nandini took the pheres together,
when there kanyadan was done, he applied sindoor in her
mang, tied the mangasultra, how badly he treated her on
there first night and how still nandini managed to perform
her every duty, applies sindoor on her mang regularly, takes
care of dadi.. manik was thinking all these when aliya sat
beside him and he came into senses. He gave a small smile
to aliya . she sat a bit more close to him and hugged him
but manik didn't hug her back.
A=manik I missed u so much, I missed us so much. After so
many days tum mere pass ho, um feeling so reliefed today
manik.. thanks ke tum aye thanks ke tumne mujhe maaf
kiya.
Manik wasn't paying any heed to her talks rather lost in his
own thoughts. He felt kiss on his cheek. aliya kissed him on
his cheek and then began to kiss his neck and shoulder

He stood up from there.. aliya came to him

tha...wase ab aur nahi ha..so please aliya stop all this

Manik began to walk towards the door aliya stopped him

Manik left from her house without any further
conversation... he walked up to his car and saw cabir
standing

SCENE SHIFTS
Nandini was worried at home. It was 2 pm at night but
manik wasn't still home. Dadi was sleeping but nandu was
awake and walking from one side of the corridor to another
and looking at the main door continuously. Finally the door
bell rang. She got some relief.. nandu ran up to the door
and opened it. The next thing she saw gave her a big shock
N=manik sir...
Manik was hurt badly on his forhead and left hand. Blood
was dripping from his forehead hand and his full shirt was
was also red. His legs were also hurt, cabir was holding
manik, maniks one hand around cabir
N=sir ...yeh sab kaise hua...cabir sir
C=nandini ssshhh... dadi uth jayegi... hum pehle room me
chalte ha
Nandini also helped cabir carrying manik upstairs to the
room... they made him lied down on the bed and nandini
rushed to the kitchen to bring ice and cold water. Cabir also
followed her...
N=cabir sir yeh sab kya hogaya...
Cabir's pov :
Jab hum aliya ke gharse nikle manik bohot disturbed tha,
we went to the bar to make him cool down. Manik bohot
frustrated tha aur gusse me tha... ek ke baad ek drink
karraha tha. Mane use bohot rokhneki koshish ki but usne
nahi suna... humare peeche wale table pe manik ke do
business rivals bethe the, they saw manik and started to
instigate them... they were making fun of you, using slang
words for you, kaha ke tum manik ke sath har raat ki
keemat leti hu... and all that.. manik couldn't control all this
and that's it shuru kardiya fighting... it was impossible to
stop him, is beech mein un logoke kuch guards aye jinhone
manik par hamla kia peechese .. so that's why manik ko
chot ayi ha. But don't worry I had called the police aur
manik ko zyada nahi lagi
Nandini started to back off hearing all this...manik was in
pain because of her..she hit the wall of the kitchen. The ice
bucket was about to fall cabir holded it..
C=relax nandini, upar jaw aur uski dressing karo. He needs
you aur ha use bat karo. Ese chup mat raho. He needs
someone to talk with. Aur ha dadi se is bareme kuch nahi
kehna
Nandini nodded and wiped her tears. She headed
upstairs.when she entered the room she saw manik was
trying to sit up on the bed with the help of his right hand
because his left hand was injured.. nandini put the ice and
cold water on the table and helped manik sit on the bed. She
put a pillow behind him so that he could rest his head on it.
Then she sat beside him and took his hand on her lap amd
began to clean the blood spots with cotton dipped in ice cold
water. Manik was observing her all the time, tears were
dropping from her eyes and falling on his hands. But she
wasn't looking at him .. her hair was coming infront of her
face for which manik wasn't being able to look at her. So he
put her hair behind her ear. Nandini looked at him , her eyes
were teary.
M=nandini wo.
N=ap samajhte kya ha khudko?? Kya zarurat thi yeh sab
karneki??? Apni halat dekhi ha ..agar aj apko dadi is halat
me dekhti toa unhe kaisa lagta??? Unhe kitni takleef hoti???
Apne socha ha???
M= wo sab ulta sidha bol rahe the tumhare bareme... aur
tum chahti ho ke ma chup rehta ... how dare they?? Jante
ha kya wo tumhare bareme???
N=sir... wo bolte ha toa bolne dijiye mujhe duniya ki batoki
koi parwa nahi ha, par apne khudka yeh kya haal kia ha
sir... apko kitni chot ayi ha, kitna khul behraha ha...
Nandini began to cry like a child seeing manik. Manik was
feeling bad not because he was injured rather seeing him
she was crying and scared...he cupped her face and made
her look into his eyes but her tears were not stopping.
Manik didn't know why but he pulled her into his arms in a
hug... feeling herself in his arms nandini found the most
comfort place of her life. She hided her face in his neck and
closed her eyes... manik also found the lost peace when he
hugged her . he was slowly patting her back. Nandini slowly
hugged him back. They just sat there for time..cabir saw
this from outside of the door and was smiling. He looked up
and gestured a thank you to uparwala for this. He thought
that manik will be now okay as nandini is here and so
without disturbing them he left from there.
After sometime manan broke the hug. They were not looking
at eachother rather looking here and there. Nandini
remembered she had to do maniks dressing.
N=sir ... apki dressing karni ha.
Manik nodded and sat properly. First it was his leg. She
carefully put a pillow under his leg and then folded his pants
till his knee. There were cut wounds. Nandini first of all put
ice there and clean the blood traces with cold water. Then
she applied antiseptic and put bandage there. Next she did
the same with his hand and forehead. Next she saw the
backside of his shirt was drenched In blood which means he
was hit on his back too..
N=sir..
M=hmmm...
N=apki shirt utarni paregi. Apke back side me bhi dressing
karni paregi.
Manik nodded and stood up. With the help of nandini he
took off hi shirt. The wounds of his back had already
swallon and turned into red. For the first time nandini saw
him bare chest and she was blushing like a tomato. Manik
was facing the mirror and through mirror he was watching
her, she was a total caring blushing wife he thought. Nandini
without looking at the mirror did the dresing and put
bandage. She gave manik a white loose shirt to wear so that
it doesn't hurt his wounds and he could sleep
N=ap abhi sojayiye. Subhah jab dadi mandir jayegi hum
doctor ko ghar me bula lenge
Manik nodded. She helped him again to lie down on the bed
and put the blanket over him. She got up switching the
lights of... manik holded her hand.
