Red String of Fate

Chapter Two

Kunikuzushi's mind was in complete disarray, how did the string manage to tug so hard he fell off his chair?

He shook his head as he slowly stood up, brushing off the dust that had gotten on his clothes from the fall.

"Erm.."

He awkwardly muttered as bhe bowed apologetically. How embarassing..

He slammed the door shut, face pink and hot from how embarrassed he is.

"Why did that stupid string pull me down?! And at the worst timing!"

He yelled, throwing his phone to the couch and angrily stormed to his bedroom.

He plopped himself onto the bed, letting his face plant onto the pillows and gripping it as he screamed.

"Damn you..!"

He angrily said as he began to physically attack the string on his finger, biting, tugging, and even attempting to cut it from how much rage he felt.

This continued on for minutes before he finally decided to come to a stop, he felt tired after finally spending his energy attempting to remove that damn string again.

"Should've known.."

He grumbled as he set the scissors down and sighed exasperatedly, he couldn't believe it.

The string was such a burden in his life he just wanted to have it permanently removed. It was such a shame his soulmate didn't appear to be falling for anyone.

"It shouldn't tug this harshly.. was my soulmate that close..?"

He mumbled as he stared at the string, to think it would be enough to have him falling off his chair..

"Ugh."

Sighing yet again, his face controted into a more relaxed yet annoyed face. He rolled to his side and closed his eyes.

If this was his day then he might as well just sleep it off, right? After all who could possibly..—

"WAKEY WAKEY!!!!!!"

Childe's obnoxious voice screamed directly out of his room, before Kunikuzushi could even look, Childe was already running to his bed.

Before Kunikuzushi knew it, he was being suffocated by Childe's heavy weight on his side.

"What the f*ck?! Get off of me!"

He yelled, shoving Childe off of him which caused the ginger to roll and fall off the bed.

"Ow.. you're always so moody, turn that frown upside down!"

Childe exclaimed as he sloppily got up the bed and approached Kunikuzushi again to lift his mouth, which only resulted in getting his hand slapped.

"Come onnn, let's go out for the park. I heard there's a lot of people there.. maybe you might find your soulmate!"

Childe explained, grinning at Kunikuzushi as he was well aware of the other's clear disinterest for finding his own soulmate.

"Not happening."

Kunikuzushi responded before rolling again to face Childe.

"What's the point anyway.. it's not like I want to find them."

Kunikuzushi sighed, pinching his nose bridge to calm himself down before he beats up Childe.

"Oh come on, you're as pale as a ghost! Get some sunlight will ya?"

Childe teased, and finally, Kunikuzushi snapped.

Screams of terror and pain were soon filled in Kunikuzushi's room as Childe would soon appear to the park with a black eye and an annoyed Kunikuzushi.
