Chapter 7 Jaune meets Winter

"This world is just different from Remnant," said Winter, "Back home I always had to worry about appearances and what people thought of me, but here no one care about status. I also like the fact that I don't have worry about an arrange marriage, and I also like learning more about Earth. Not to mention the culture." Winter said happily as Jaune smirked

"I see you really are enjoying yourself," said Jaune, "How do you like the katana I got you?" Jaune ask Winter as she smiled

"It's good I really love the fact I have something close combat that can be used in ranged too." Winter said happily as she pull out her Katana and look at it, "What's more I like the history behind the weapon and that I can use a weapon like this. Even the name of the weapon mean soul or spirit, and I feel that this weapon really is a part of my soul." Winter said smiling

Jaune smirked knowing this was one of the few times she really smiled, "Since I got you your katana I think I should tell you the origins of your katana" Jaune said as Winter nod in excitement

"So wait is that the witch Akeno who made the katana." Elena asked as Jaune nodded

"Who was this lady Akeno." Joan asked as Jaune looked at her

"She was a powerful witch who fell in love with a powerless human." Jaune said as Joan was about to ask as the inscreen Jaune started to explain

"The katana has an interesting origin. It believed to be the first magic weapon to be created by a witch. Magic is said to flow in the katana due to a witch who fell in love with a man named Takehaya Susanoo no mikoto. However someone was jealous of their love life and took the life of Takehaya susanoo no mikoto, when the witch learned of this she was heartbroken. Due to the witch grief she created the katana out of her magic and used her life force to merge with the Katana, which allow anyone wield the katana along with portion of a magic from witch. The witch used her last remaining magic to cast a spell allowing the katana to adapt to their wielder and learn how the wielder fights, allowing the katana to grow stronger alongside its user. She passed away and reunited with her loved one" Jaune said as Winter was awestruck at the story

"That is a amazing origin," said Winter, "But that make me question, does the katana adapt to me?" Jaune smirked

"It will once you fully master the katana," said Jaune, "I would tell you how but I don't know the full details, the info I told you is just myth that people believe in. But when I found it I learned of its history it was one of my main weapons but now its yours" Jaune said as Winter looked at her katana and wonder if the katana will adapt to her. She smiled as she look back toward Jaune who was ahead of her and started running to catch up with him, 'Jaune you really are a nice person, despite what my sister did to you and the betrayal you went through.' Winter thought

Jaune stop and turn toward Winter who ran toward him, "Sorry for daydreaming Jaune." Winter said as Jaune waved her off

"Let just head back," said Jaune, "After tomorrow things will most likely get more difficult for us, so enjoy your time while you still can.

"Why do I have a feeling something bad about to happen." Joan asked as Elena sighed

"It does." Elena said as she still looked at the screen

Winter nodded that is until several bullet were fired at Jaune and Winter who dodge them quickly. Jaune look toward where the bullet came from only for another set of bullet to be fired causing Jaune to jump onto the building and headed toward where the bullets were coming from. Winter was in a alleyway using her katana to deflect the bullets, and was making her way toward the top of the building. Winter made it to the top and saw Jaune fighting several assassin, 'Why are assassin after Jaune.' Winter thought

"Who hired you." Jaune said as he cut the assassin in half

"Like we would tell you." said the assassin who seem to be the leader

"Tell me now and I'll make your death painless," Jaune threaten, "Keep quiet and I will make your death more painful than you could ever imagine." Winter was standing by as she listen in and see the assassins shiver in fear and wonder what kind of death Jaune was threatening them with

"We will never betray our client." said the assassin who seem to be the strongest, "Kill us and die in pain, since we fail our client will probably have us killed anyway. Our loyalty to our clients are absolute and we will never break our codes." Winter was shocked and awestruck as Jaune smiled

'This is why Jaune is such a terrifying man,' thought Winter, 'He always seems calm and carefree, but he also the most deadliest man on Earth.' Winter watch as Jaune called his sword

"Very well....Let dance." Jaune said as he used his magic and slashed at two of the clones killing them instantly

"Let dance really." Alex said looking at her brother

"Hey I didn't know what else to say." Jaune said

Winter was watching as Jaune was fighting the assassin but soon notice one of the assassin sneaking up on Jaune,

"HEY ASSHOLE!!!" Winter said as she aimed her katana clashing against the assassin weapon. Winter eyes widen as the katana adapt to her causing magic glyphs appear and cause her katana slash into the assassin.

Jaune turn toward Winter only for another assassin to jump at him with a sword in his hand aiming for Jaune's neck. Jaune smirked and activated his magic glyph, 'Look like Winter has finally unlocked her katanas ability. Also winter has just reach another milestone,' Jaune thought, 'She now has mastered swordsmanship to a extent.' Jaune blocked the assassin attack, 'Looks like I'm going to have train winter even more.' Jaune block a attack with his hand and then slash through the assassin head. Jaune looked toward the assassin leader who was sweating and look toward Winter and nodded

"Let us finish this winter." said Jaune as Winter smirked

"They are lucky we weren't there." Joan and Alex said smirking at the assassin wishing to tear them into pieces

"Or us." Ahri, Evelynn and Ei said angrily

"Indeed!" Winter said as magic glyph appear under her feet and she charged at the assassin leader who was trembling and was shaking in fear. The leader try to attack Winter only to be dodged and his attack deflected. The assassin leader was about to counter attack only to be sliced in half by Jaune who walked passed him. Winter watch as Jaune walk by her

Winter chuckled, "I couldn't just let you have all the fun besides this assassin after you right." Winter said as she looks at him "You are my friend Jaune Arc. I won't abandoned a friend and if they after you there after me." Jaune smirk as he truly see Winter as a friend though he won't admit it. He didn't want to give Winter anymore smug ego for tonight.

"You truly are amazing winter," Jaune said causing winter to blush, "Let's go I can't stay out here forever." Winter followed after Jaune who looked toward her katana which started glowing causing Winter to smile happily.

"Okay now..." ash notice Rex was missing along with Lora, Akali, April and Saphron with Adrian

"Where did those five go." Ash said just  as Jaune points to the camera he watching as they both watch

"You are friend." Seraphine said holding Adrian who giggled
