Chapter 7 Jaune meets Winter

"She has gotten better in acting." Kiana said defending Winter as she smiled

"Yeah thanks to acting class." Ahri said with a smirk as Winter glared at her

"Try again." said Jaune as Winter eyes widen as she try thinking of something but sigh knowing Jaune would see through it, "Let try again, what are you doing here."

Winter sighed, "I have no idea I was just on a mission and this portal appeared. The next thing I know I land on this rooftop and some Yakuza grunt try to assault me." Winter said annoyed at the grunt, "Next thing I know running into you." Jaune look at Winter and sigh

"I was on a mission to kill a Yakuza official," said Jaune, "I can send you back to Remnant."

"Actually can I stay in this world?" asked Winter

"Lucky you got to stay with big bro." Blue said in jealousy

"She was very lucky." Indigo said

"Why?" Jaune said his gun ready to point at Winter if she gives a wrong answer

"Well for one my father has been pressuring me getting married and two I really want to learn more about this world. I want to show you that I am not like my father or younger sister" Winter said hoping Jaune will allow her to stay

"Wait really your father was trying to force you to marry." Lumine asked in worried

"Yep." Winter said as she looked at her "that why I stayed on earth."

"Well you made a good choice." Kiana said

Jaune thought for a bit he could see Winter was telling the truth and he could use a ceo assistant who has knowledge of a business, "Fine but on some condition." said Jaune as Winter look toward Jaune with a hopeful look, "You will work for me, since I could use some assistance. Also this place is dangerous and if you stay you need to be able to protect yourself. You will live with me and work as my CEO assistant so I can keep an eye on you." Winter nodded agreeing with Jaune condition

"So should I tell anyone back in Remnant where I am or that I'm here?" asked Winter curious

"No I don't want anyone know that you are here, I don't want my ex team or friends getting involved." Jaune said as Winter nod knowing the reason why, "Now let go get an identity made for you."

"Wait Jaune." Winter said stopping Jaune, "Despite all this I am kinda surprise your trusting me." Jaune smirk

"Because you haven't lied or tried to attack me. I want to see if you can actually show me this but know this harm people who I love and care you will died." Jaune said as Winter follow with a smile and nodded understanding the threat

"I will show you Jaune Arc that I am worthy of your trust." Winter said

Jaune rolled his eyes as Winter was giving him a grin

"Yeah Yeah you win you managed to win my trust and my heart." Jaune said as Winter Smirked at him as the video continued

Timeskip

"What kind of weapon do you prefer?" asked Jaune as they made it to Jaune base of operation, "If your staying here you need to protect yourself. Since Remnant dust or aura isn't usable here you need a weapon of this world."

"I do prefer using my sword," said Winter, "If you have a rapier or a close combat weapon, that would be ideal for me." Jaune nodded in acknowledgment. Jaune then pull out an old 9mm pistol and aim at a dummy that was used for target practice. Winter look on in confusion until Jaune shot the dummy head causing it to blow off and the head flew toward Jaune. Jaune caught the dummy head and walk toward Winter and hand her the 9mm pistol, "Is this the close combat weapon your talking about?" Winter asked confused
