Amelia Stefanie Micheals is a 17 year old girl who want to find what everyone wants. Love.

Everyone knows her as the perfect quiet girl who does well is school easily and doesn't do anything she's not supposed to. How very wrong they are.

Whenever she has the opportunity to let her hair down, she does. She used to do it alone up until a few years ago.

"I think this party needs to be a little bit more fun, don't you all think," Amelia shouted at the top of her lungs. She may be the youngest person at this party but she was determined to make it hers."I brought a little something to help with that."She produced a bottle of the fanciest looking bottle of bourbon she could find in her fathers stash a such short notice.

"I call first drink," called a voice Amelia didn't recognise. She turned around to see a blond haired girl about the same age coming towards her. "I'm Carrie." She said.

"Amelia, nice to meet you but I must warn you this stuff is strong, I got drunk on about 3 glasses last week."

"I think I can handle it."

"We shall see," Amelia handed over the bottle of alcohol and Carrie took a swig out the bottle and grimaced at the taste. Amelia could barely keep from laughing at the sight of the girls face.

"Stronger than it looks, isn't it." Amelia asked, intrigued about her the girl hadn't thrown it back up.

"I've had worse." Carrie replied, wanting to show off a little.

Amelia suddenly had a good idea. "I think you and I are going to be great friends."

That is how the best thing in Amelia's life started and how she came to be at Carrie's house, sitting and planning the best party they have ever thrown before.

"Mom, dad, I'm not going to college this year." Jake Caster said to his parents. He knew he had to tell his parents at some point but he was worried about their reactions. Turns out he was right to be worried.

"I'm sorry, your what!" His mother said, she was not happy at this in any way.

"I want a year off, hit the road and go back next year."

"No, it's not happening, you have worked too hard to stop now. If you stop you will lose the momentum to keep going." His father, Micheal said, clearly not happy with his sons decision.

"Well I guess it's lucky you two don't have a say in the matter, I'm doing it and neither of you can stop me." Jake was starting to get annoyed now, he couldn't believe they didn't support him on this.

"Actually, that's not entirely true, if we take your motorbike off you then how will you 'hit the road' as you say." Although he didn't want to admit it, his mother was right, they payed for most of the things to do with the motorbike.

"What if I promise to call every week, and wear a helmet like you alway tell me too which I never do. I'll come back once a month and when I start college I'll put double the work effort in, please." Jake knew it was a stretch but he had to try something.

Micheal and Lilith looked at each other for their opinion, no words were need as they'd known each other that long.

"We will agree to it on one other condition." Lilith said, knowing he'd probably agree to anything.

"Yes, anything, I promise." Jake was happy he got his parents to agree and whatever the finally condition was, he could probably handle it.

"When we go away next weekend, we want you to watch Carrie." Micheal said with a slight smirk on his face, suggesting there was something else.

"Why do you have that look on your face." Jake asked, worried what else it could be.

"We have reason to believe Carrie and Amelia," Jake suddenly become more interested, he didn't know why but something about that girl always nagged at him, just he didn't know what. "Are planning a party, and we want you to make sure no one gets hurt or too drunk." This is what he didn't want to do and of course his parents knew about his little sisters party.

"Fine." He huffed, he really didn't want to babysit a house full of 17 year olds, but if that is what got him his freedom then it must be done.

"Excellent, so when is it you want to leave." His father asked.

"Sunday morning." Jake said with a huge smile on his face, he couldn't believe this was actually happening.

"Better go and start packing then." Lilith told him. And with that he went upstairs to pack.
