Chapter 2- Silver Butterfly

"I'm saying I like you , your highness.."

Xie lian was frozen when huacheng has said that , he stood there , staring at him , a wave of confusion rushing to him, eyes wide , " R..Repeat that..one more time.." xie lian said , making sure he heard that correctly.

Hua cheng chuckled ," I like you , gege." , that way Xie lians cheeks became a soft rosy colour , his heart skipping a beat.

Hua cheng looked at his face , nervously waiting for his response. Xie lian chuckled ,"Haha.. that..must be a joke right? Just like last time?" Xie lian asked , looking at him with confusion.

"No, this time, its not a joke." Hua cheng held xie lains hand , then his hand travelled to xie lain waist , pulling him closer , xie lian letting out a small gasp.

"San lang..?" Before xie lain could understand what was happening , Hua Cheng leaned in and kissed him on the lips. Xie lians eyes widened as he blushed, he wrapped his hands around hua chengs neck and leaned closer into the kiss.

Their lips parted as they both looked at eachother , Xie lain became a blushing mess, as for hua cheng , he chuckled...

Before a hand was shaking xie lians shoulder. Xie lian was confused until..

"Gege! Gege wake up!" Hua cheng yelled ,concerned as he shaked xie lains shoulder gently, xie lians eyes opened as he sat up quickly and held his face to see how hot it is.." gege..! Gege..whats wrong? You were calling my name ...and..your face is also very red.."

Before xie lain could've said anything , he realised...it was a dream , it was not real. He let out a frown , hua cheng who was in his real form of course , looked at him curious on how..?or why?? Xie lains expression changed so fast. He thought it was maybe because he woke up him up?

"Stupid dream." Xie lain groaned as he wished the dream was real , for some reason.

"What's wrong gege? Why are you so moody..?" Hua cheng asked with concern , looking at him, "ah.? Oh nothing San lang..just a dream I had!" Xie lain let out a small chuckle as he smiled at him , hua cheng tilted his head in confusion,"did you perhaps..have a bad dream..? That's why you were calling my name gege?" Hau cheng asked curiously , xie lain shaked his head.

"No I just um..I...my dream was..quite weird !" He lied , trying not to make it obvious, " ah..I see.." hua cheng acted like he believed him but inside , he had a feeling that he was lying.

"What time is it ?" Xie lian asked with a small yawn coming out, "it's around .. 2 o'clock. " xie lain stopped stretching as he looked at him horrified," 2 O'CLOCK?!" xie lain yelled before getting his mouth shut with a bao bun and of course it was hua cheng who shoved it in his mouth...Xie lain didn't argue back as he munched on the bun with satisfaction," this is delicious.." Xie lian said happily as hua cheng just sighed in relief of stopping him from yelling.

"But why didn't you wake me up at the same time you woke up?" Xie lain asked tilting his head , hua cheng stared at him as he started laughing , xie lian tilted his head in confusion, "Gege I dont..really have to sleep.." He said while laughing in-between.

Xie lian stayed quiet, confused until he realised. "Oh yeah...sorry San lang..but you could've just woke me up.."

"You were sleeping so peacefully I ...really didn't wanna wake you up."

"San lang..." Xie lian face palmed while hua cheng had an innocent face.
