I wake up again, all groggy and dazed. I try moving, but I realise that I'm bound onto a chair. My ankles and wrists were tied. I couldn't see, my sight was foggy and it remained.
"So the princess wakes up?" I heard a familiar voice. Is that... Ruth?
"Ruth?" I asked, my voice raspy.
"That's what I am." She replied.
"What are you doing? Let me go, please." I begged.
"Nah, maybe I'll get you go after I kill you."
No. She can't. She won't, right?
I heard a laptop being typed on. My vision started to clear, but it was still hazy. I could vaguely make out outlines.
I could see Ruth's outline, she was typing. She then printed out a few sheets of paper and placed it in an envelope.
She came ahead with more rope.
