Often when arguing about LGBT we say Gay Rights using Gay as a general term.
This is something I saw on Tumblr and I couldn't agree more:
"You know it really pisses me off how when fighting for LGBT rights we always use Gay rights for everything. But the moment a bi/ pan person says they're gay or use it as an umbrella term they are attacked for it"
And it's true it's not fair.
I mean Dale and I say we're Hella Gay all the time but we're really Bi and Pan.
It upsets me how even the community sometimes claims that there is no such thing as Bisexual much less Pan.
I also want to say something, you can be sexually attracted to someone of the same gender and not be romantically attracted to them and vice versa. (Romantically attracted but not sexually)
That's perfectly fine as well.
So I want to shout out to all people to let you know that your sexuality and gender is valid.
