Chloe walked into the lecture hall and sat next to Maddie "I thought that you were over with what Alex did to you. I mean I thought that you we're friends" Chloe asked as Maddie smiled

"It's easier said than done I don't hate him and all but he still hurt me. Since when did you care I thought you thought that Karev was an ass"

"I do but I feel bad after the Ava Rebecca thing" Chloe said as Maddie nodded

"Yeah me too. I saw how he cared over her" Maddie said

"We're very busy so I'll be brief. I set up a new protocol at Seattle Grace. Will the new rules and are new and going to be newly enforced" the chief said as Maddie and Chloe held a look.

"First, second and third-year residents will no longer be allowed to de facto specialise.The practise interferes
with the development of a fully-rounded surgical education.
No more. Personal relationships, personal loyalties and personal favourites will no longer be a factor in our training programme. Attendings, you will spread your wealth of knowledge equally among all of the residents. In addition, we'll refocus our attention on patient communication and bedside manner. For some of us,this means learning the lost art of humanity and compassion. For others, this means learning how to treat patients without becoming emotionally involved with them." The chief said

Chloe glanced to Maddie and frowned

"You know that's a dig at you and mark. Personal relationships right?"chloe asked as Maddie looked to her and shrugged

"I don't care what he thinks. He had an affair with our mother I'm sure he wasn't thinking over his wife then" Maddie said.

She glanced to mark as he sat up front as he was looking back at Maddie smiling. Maddie and mark had a sexual relationship and the chief had recently worked it out

"If there are complications or the mets are more extensive." Chloe said
