Dusk hits and the animals wonder,
To their habitats will they ponder.
The bright moon shines upon them,
But it will all be gone when the clock hits seven.

Below the shining sky lives a sea maiden,
Her eyes so bright, wouldn't you want to see them?

The moon guardian looks below,
To what she sees will always flow,
The maiden sings sorrowfully,
As if there is something bothering her heart.

The guardian looks closer,
As if something is calling her on her part.
The maiden notices and catches her glance,
She offered her hand in exchange for a dance.

Her feelings flutter as she heard,
How in the world did she end up here feeling flustered?
The guardian was confused,
But was to, amused.

They danced the night away,
Whilst the trees and leaves sway.
The animals came to watch,
Oh what a wonderful night it is to march!

The clock strikes close to dawn,
As the animals move like a pawn.
The moon has dispersed,
And the maiden has sunken.

When will we see them again? They wonder.
But knowing deep down, itll always ponder.
