--Chapter 7--
"I don't want to go."
"But you will."
"Yeah, in your dream."
"Told you," smirked Likos, or Lee. His new nickname.
"You forced me to go," I said, glaring up at him.
He gave me an innocent (FAKE) smile. "You look beautiful, Andra."
"If you're trying to make me feel better about coming to this stinken party, its not working."
He pursed his lips and looked out the window without saying another word.
My thoughts fluttered from the party to my old life. I wonder what Mom was doing. I wonder if I could become normal again.
"You're not going to be normal after you found out about all this, Andra," said Lee out of nowhere.
My mouth opened wide. "You could read minds?!"
"Not all minds......" he mumbled.
"But you just read mine!"
"There are reasons to that..."
I stared at him as if he just popped is eyes out of its sockets.
Likos sighed and turned his head to face me. "You gotta get use to these stuff."
"Yeah soon but not after I've found out about this a day ago!" I shouted.
Silence.
"Lee?"
Silence.
"Leeee....?"
Silence.
"OH MY GOSH, LEE, I'M SOOOOOOO SORRY!"
"Ok! Ok! I got it, Andra! Now would you just shut up?!"
"But it was your fault..... You started everything!"
He gave me a blank look and turned back to looking out the window thingy.
I stared at the back of his head and wondered:
'Why in the names of all that is wonderful is he so darn gorgeous?'
Likos suddenly burst out laughing, saying, "Thank you very much for the compliment, Miss Andra. And by the way, you don't look bad yourself."
Darn it! I forgot that he could read minds!
Instead of replying, I glared at him. He chuckled and took my hand.
"You're so soft.... You have a very delicate skin...." Lee said, very softly.
"Thanks for calling me fat," I snorted.
"...I wasn't calling you fat! I was just saying that you were soft..."
"Yes, I am soft because of my fat!"
He sighed and looked away, not saying a word until we got to Austin's.
As soon as we walked out the car, we both saw the teenagers and their drunken asses everywhere on the front garden (or an open field, you may call it).
When we walked into the abnormally large house, Likos wrapped his arms around my waist and lead me to the kitchen,
"There're some wolves in here. They'll recognize you if you don't be careful," Lee whispered into my ear.
"Why's that bad?" I asked/whispered back.
"They want to kill you, Andra. They can't stand Olympians."
"Oh... but-"
"Oh my gosh, Andra! I haven't seen you in awhile girlyyyyy!" said a familiar voice from the entrance to the kitchen.
Likos tensed when he saw Victoria, hanging her arm around Austin's neck and her other hand had a shot of vodka in it.
"Hey, Vic! How've you been?" I replied with a genuine smile on my face.
"I've been AWEEEEESOOMMMMEEE! So who's the guy next to you?"
Austin shot a glare at Likos and vice versa.
"He's Likos. A lovely friend of mine." I smiled up at him and he smiled back.
"But more like a boyfriend," added Lee.
Vic's eyes widened as she looked at me then too Likos. "When did this all happened?"
"Vicky, he's lying."
Lee snorted. "Then what was the intense make out we had the other night and you were apparently craving for more."
My mouth flew open. "No I was not!"
"Yes you were! But SOMEONE had to ruin our moment by saying 'I need to go to pee'."
I shot a glare at Victoria who was holding her laugh.
This night was going to be interesting.
