Invisible (Linda x Monkey!Reader)

(Heyo! Maddie here! So with Samba de Amigo Party Central being a thing. I thought I'd try to get back into working on this. Starting with a song fic! Also in this one. you're Amigo and Amiga's sibling. All of this would be in Y/N's POV! So have fun with that)

She can't see the way your eyes

Light up when you smile

She'll never notice how you stop and stare

Whenever she walks by

My name's Y/N. I'm Amigo and Amiga's (Older/Middle/Younger) sibling. I idolize my siblings so much and I decided to be an idol just like them. I loved music growing up and I was the last of my family to leave the nest into stardom!

However. As I join my (Older/Younger) brother. There's this pretty butterfly girl I like. Her name is Linda. And I happen to admire her... My siblings read me like a goddamn book too. Amigo especially since he and Linda are close.

Only problem is.... Linda likes Amigo. While me.... I'm rarely seen compared to my siblings.... I never mentioned this to them cause well... Amiga's nosy with my love life even though I love her to pieces. Amigo.... He's my (Older/Younger) brother. I'm worried he could be upset at Linda or at me. So I held in my tongue

Now are the other members aware? Besides Linda, who's not. Some are.... Chumba even told me I have to talk to her at some point. But what if she ignores me. And even if I do. Amigo mentioned he just sees Linda as a friend

I started performing as per usual. No casualties but I see Amigo talking with Linda. Don't know what for. But Amigo has a frown on his face. I decided to turn my music off and act as if I'm carrying on. So Amigo won't suspect something

Easier? What did she mean? I keep listening closely as they talk. Until I hear Linda say this

"One of my other choices was your sibling Y/N"

I was shocked, she actually liked me!? Linda!?

Amigo looked to me and tapped me on my shoulder. I take out my headphones and look to him

"Hey Y/N? You got a sec?"

Like shadows in a faded light

Oh we're invisible

I just wanna open your eyes

And make you realize

"Yeah... What's up (Big/Lil') bro?" I asked, acting as if I didn't know

"I got a secret admierer looking for you. Think you can head outsi-"

And just like that..... I rushed on outta there and see Linda. She looked nervous

"Hey Lin.... Um.... You 

I just want to show you, she don't even know you,

Linda took a deep breath before telling me how she feels. She does love me. And I hug her as tight and told her "I thought you'd never see me...."

I smile and give Linda the biggest hug I can muster

So now.... Linda and I are official. Our friends ship the ever loving hell out of us too. Even our fans do. And so we make the best couple this team has ever seen
