Earthling Stars (an smg4 AU)

A temporary home

Both 3 and 4 were preparing to board the ship
smg4 felt someone grab his hand, tightening their grip in the process, it was Mario

Mario: please. Don't leave Mario too.
Putting his hands on Mario's shoulders, smg4 reassured Mario

Smg4: I'll be fine don't worry, I'll make sure we stay in contact.
Mario: you promise..?
Smg4: I promise
Mario pulled smg4 into a hug, smg4 embraced it

Smg3: come on we need to go!
Smg4: 3, come on. We might not see them for ages let's make the most of the time we have left, okay?
Smg3:... I guess so
Smg4: Come here!
Smg4 pulled smg3 into the hug with Mario and he swore he could see tears in SMG3's eyes but he decided to keep quiet
Luigi and their newest member of the squad eventually joined the hug

Smg3: Kept them safe won't you. Desti
Desti: I will do, you can count of me
Smg4: please make sure Mario doesn't do something stupid
Desti: obviously you idoits

They all eventually parted from the hug, 3 and 4 waved goodbye as they entered the ship
They had no clue how long they'd be gone and if the others would be alive by the time the got back, they just hoped they wouldn't end up like the others

After sometime the ship finally left Earth, earth got smaller and smaller the further they went
Smg4 could see smg3 constantly looking back and trying to hold back his tears

Smg4: you know it's only me here right? I'm not gonna make fun of you for crying
Smg3: IM NOT CRYING
smg4: oh really?
Smg3: NO! SHUT UP YOU IDIOT

Smg4: the tears in your eyes said other wise
Smg3: I just had something in my eye you dumbass
Smg4: for sure
Smg3: oh my god do you know how to shut up
Smg4: you're so easy to annoy dude
Smg3: whatever

Their bickering continued, it actually helped them get their minds of things
Even though they were full of energy they were also exhausted

Smg3 was daydreaming, he eventually noticed smg4 nodding off (falling asleep)
He and smg4 haven't had a decent amount of sleep in a good while due to recent events.
He let 4 rest and took control of the ship
Time continued to pass, smg4 was out cold, smg3 felt his tiredness catching up to him but he was determined to stay awake
Then minutes later he passed out

3 and 4 work up to the sound of an alarm, the ship had taken damage
A passing meteor had crashed into the ship causing damage to the left wing

Smg3: We need to land somewhere!
Smg4: there's no where to land 3?!
Smg3: look! We should land on that planet over there! Hold on!
Smg4: oh my god we're so dead

Smg3 set course to the planet, however the ships controls were somehow effected, did a second meteor hit that they missed?
In fear and panic, smg4 gripped onto 3's arm
They both braced for impact

........

Smg4: are we alive..?
Smg3: I think so.? Hey! Get off me!!
Smg4: okay! Okay!
Smg4: uh 3..
Smg3: what?!
Smg4: why do I smell smoke.?
Smg3: SHIT
Smg3 grabbed 4's hand and dragged him out the ship, the ship not long after caught on fire

Smg3: THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!
Smg4: HOW TF IS IT MY FAULT, YOU WERE CONTROLLING THE SHIP
Smg3: YOU WERE CONTROLLING IT FIRST BUT YOU DECIDED TO FALL ASLEEP LIKE THE IDIOT YOU ARE

The arguing continued for a while, they constantly blamed the other, neither of them were winning in this situation

Smg3: UGH! Im just gonna go analysis this planet while you set up camp and fix the ship
Smg4: WHAT?!
Smg3: you fucking heard me, I need a break from you

Smg4: whatever
Smg4 began working on repairs
He was constantly muttering about smg3, in a negative way
After everything, they may be close but still hate each other but in a friendship way
Hopefully they won't be here to long, it seems that this planet will be a temporary home from now on
