"It's okay, if you have plans or something, I just..."

She stopped, staring at her shoes.

With a jolt, Bucky noticed that they were scuffed and torn.

"Sure!" Steve replied, joyful.

"Anytime, Natasha," Sam told her.

She smiled and looked at Bucky.

"Uh, yeah, that sounds cool."

'What is wrong with me? Why did I take so long to answer? She's just a normal girl, right? Like I'm just a normal boy?' His cleared his thoughts away, before asking, "Natasha, when did you get those shoes?"

As an afterthought, he added: "They look really nice on you."

She frowned and shook her head.

"Uh, two weeks ago. And a half, I think? When we got to Manhattan."

That didn't seem right. There was something up with Natasha. Yet he couldn't help smiling and agreeing, when she said, "New York is so beautiful. Especially at night. And, uh... Thanks, guys."

Steve nodded.

"Brooklyn is better."

"Obviously." Bucky fully agreed with Steve.

Sam looked outraged.

"Nope. Delacroix, Louisiana is. No doubt. It's, very... You just have this feeling, there...."

"You just belong, no matter what," Sam finished.

Natasha smiled. "That sounds wonderful."
She had the biggest smile, and as it started to rain, droplets fell on her pink cheeks. She blushed even more, when she noticed the boys looking at her.

"Shall we?" Natasha asked, still smiling.

"We shall," replied Steve, holding out his arm.

Nataha linked her arm in his, as they set off.

She was smiling all the way to the arcade.

                                                                             ***

Her eyes were partially closed, in concentration.

"Ha!"

Nataha high hived the air, having beaten the trio at Mario Kart.

"Ha! Well, good game. But, I won," she added, a huge smirk on her face.

"I mean, obviously."

They walked around, getting their butt kicked at different games.

Natasha checked her watch, that came out of know where. "Wow! It's been three hours."

Steve's eyes went wide. Natasha laughed. Her voice was beautiful, like true inner beauty. Not to say she wasn't beautiful on the outside. She was definitely beautiful on the outside. The boys thought so.

They headed out, and Natasha secretly thought: "This is the most fun I've had in a long time.'

                                                                                            ***

Walking around, Natasha asked: "Wanna check out my dance studio?"

She watched them intently, awaiting their reply.

"Sure! That sounds cool," Steve replied.

"It has a wonderful view," Natasha said with a grin.

As the other two boys nodded in agreement, her grin only got wider. And a little bit more... Cheeky. More devious.
