I found out that I didn't have to work on Halloween or the day after. So Tita Marie and I spent the entire weekend decorating her house for trick or treaters and also went out to the store to get candies.
I also got my costume taken care of. Yes, I got a Dirndl. A little too revealing for my taste but hey, it's Halloween anyway. Tita said it's okay to
Invite some friends over so I invited my two closest work friends, Jess and Sasha. This will also serve as our goodbyes. Kinda. We still plan to have a girls night before I leave.
Tita rented a bartender. Everything we set in the backyard. Tita has a big backyard so even if with the pool which I doubt anybody will use coz it's starting to be cold at night.. but who knows. It's heated anyway. I know Jess and Sasha said they'll bring their swimsuits anyway. Just in case. These nurses.. always ready for anything. We also just had the party catered. We have rented a taco buffet and mostly appetizers.
The party starts at 4 pm so after I made sure everything is ready for the guests, I showered and started getting ready. I blow dried my hair and put them in braided pig tails. I put some light make up on and put on my costume. Hmmm... I do look good in this costume. Just a bit short for my liking but I have knee highs stockings and mary janes.
My friends and guests started to arrive so I escorted them to the patio. Some started dancing, some eating and some drinking.
"Hey Anne! Let's eat so we can start drinking." Said Sasha.
"Girl, you just wanna get drunk." Said Jess
I laughed at them and we all went to get some tacos. " I'm gonna miss you both so much. If you wanna go to the Philippines let me know."
"Of course, silly. Girl, Ima miss you so much. Everything at work except for Jess is stupid. All the other nurses we get aren't as good as you." Sasha said.
"Ain't that true? I wish you all the happiness girl." Jess said as she handed us Tequila shots. "Cheers to new beginnings."
"Cheers!" Sasha and I said in unison.
We danced and took pictures and drank more. After a couple more shots, I can tell that I'm already buzzed. But I wanna keep dancing so I won't be buzzed for long. Gotta metabolize that alcohol. Tita Marie is having fun drinking and dancing too.
The girls and I took pictures for memories. We took serious, sexy and wacky pictures. Gosh I love these girls. I drank some more until it's time for them to go home. The last ones to leave were the bartenders. Guests helped Tita and I to clean up. We just left the tables and chairs because the rental place will just come tomorrow to pick those up.
I was really drunk that my face was numb and I could barely walk but I made it to my room so I can shower. My watch has been ringing since I went in the shower and I know it's Pau calling. I'll call him later... I gotta shower first.
After I got done, I just put on whatever I can find first and I made my way back to my bed. My phone started ringing again...
"H- Hello?"
"Love? Are you okay?"
"Who's this? Sorry...let me fix myself."
"It's Paulo."
"Oh.. hey.. sorry I didn't look at my phone."
"Are you okay? You don't sound okay.."
"Aside from the fact that I couldn't feel my face, I think I'm okay. Haha."
"Baby, are you drunk?"
"Me? I don't know.. is this how it is to be drunk? I don't really drink but tonight.. I did. It was fun."
