Serenity Sterling is the most popular woman in all of England. Children who were just born would know who Serenity Sterling is. All the men would die to marry her, and all the women desire so much to be her. She belongs to the royal family, the Sterlings, and lives in a large castle in the city of Fairwood.
Now, Serenity stood on the balcony from her room and thought to herself. She thought deep and hard. Everybody in England loved her, more than she loved herself. But they didn't really love her, no- they loved who she was, they loved her fame, her royalty, and her money. She has never once met a person who didn't even once mention how much money she must have or how fun it must be to have everybody do everything for her.
The truth is, it's not that fun at all. Serenity hated making her servants do anything for her that she could do just as easily by herself. She didn't believe in a world ruled by a single person who got to decide everything for the people, without even considering what they want. And that was exactly what her mother, Queen Charity, did.
Serenity believed in a world where the people got to decide what was best for them, and whoever was the ruler would listen, and make changes based on what they wanted. But her and her mother don't exactly see eye-to-eye with this idea. They don't see eye-to-eye with just about anything, actually- not even love.
Serenity believed love was a special thing, something you can only have with one person, or more than one if that's how you really feel. It included wanting to protect them, be with them, and tension to the point where you physically cannot keep yourself away from them sometimes. It came with happiness, and it came with pain; It came with every emotion imaginable. And all her mother saw it as was finding a wealthy man who will support you financially. Little did Serenity know, she was about to meet the man who will prove her theory not only to her mother, but to herself as well.
