Deandre's P.O.V

We were getting ready for the game coming up in an hour. We were playing here in L.A. I seriously wanted to get this over with though.

My best friend was coming here. Anabelle Deleon. I called her 'Bell' at times. But I was the only one to call her by her nickname, usually anyway.

You see me and Anabelle, were really close. We still are. She had a rough time growing up and I helped her go through it.

At one point we thought about being a couple. But then we realised it wasn't supposed to be like that so we just became friends.

She was there for me, I was there for her. I would do anything for her and she would do the same. Basically we're family.

Something about her caught my eye, though. She was different.

I know, I know, everybody is different.

Anyway she was moving in with me because she wants to start over. She hasn't had the best life. through out the years her life became worse. Hopefully moving over here with me will be a new beginning.

It was hard to convince her but I got her to come.

"Deandre?" I heard someone call me as they interrupted my thoughts. "Why the huge smile, man?" right away I knew it was Blake.

Wow!

No wonder my cheekbones hurt. I looked at him and he was smirking. "Just ready to beat the hell out of the Suns." I said. I lied, I know but I couldn't tell him that it was because of Anabelle.

It was silent until I spoke up. "Blake?" I asked him. "What's up?" he said as he put his jersey on. "I have a party after the game. You coming?", the party is mostly for Isabel, but I didn't add that on. "Yeah, man! Of course i'll be there. Who else did you invite?" he asked.

"I invited the whole team and a couple of my girl friends." I said.

"Lady's huh?" he smirked. "I'll definitely go" I let Blake be Blake. He wasn't a slut or a man whore or a womanizer. Or at least that's what he says. He tells me he's looking for the perfect one. The 'Love of his life'. We both laughed and made our way out to the stadium.

I just couldn't wait, until I got to see her.
