AGE 14
Susannah always told me I was destined for one of her boys. I never really understood what she meant by that but I let it go because it didn't really mean anything significant now.

I was squished in between Jeremiah, Steven and Conrad. At first it seemed like a funny idea to pack into one sofa since I was here anyways but it began to become a bit uncomfortable because obviously the couch we were sitting on was a 2-seater but family's family y'know? And it's not like the boys would listen anyways. We were all watching a movie to get my mind off the terrible thunderstorm happening not even a step away from us. Susannah and my Mom were doing something; they actually reminded me of teenage girls around my age because sometimes they would be gossiping or painting eachother's nails. Me and Steven were pushing and shoving eachother constantly every 2 seconds until I finally gave a big lug at him. Within a blink of an eye Steven and Conrad fell because he took Conrad down with him in an attempt to keep himself off the ground and from getting hurt.

"Dudeee!" Conrad whined like a child which made me laugh. Conrad was obviously being a little light hearted with the way he whined, but it was cute. Too cute even. Steven and Jeremiah laughed along too. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry Conrad." Steven half-heartedly apologized but Conrad still seemed a bit irritated but I couldn't blame him, If Steven had taken me to the ground and not him, there would've been more than just fighting. I sighed and shook my head, in an instant, Conrad and Steven disappeared to go get snacks and couldn't help but smile at how much kid they still have at heart.

Jeremiah couldn't help but keep laughing at how quickly they made up. I laughed a little too, but I couldn't help and admire his pearly, white smile. Jeremiah was beloved by a lot of girls from his school and he liked to make it known. Had I always felt this way for Jere? It was hard to tell because I'm always looking at one of the Fisher Sons. Before he could look back at me, I directed my head into a different direction. "I think you need to get your brother in check," Jere said jokingly as he gestured back towards the kitchen. He definitely saw me turning away, but he was too much of a good guy to not say anything. But oh those eyes. Everything about Jeremiah was perfect. "Oh yeah? And what about yours? Conrad whines like a child." I tried to not keep eye contact for an uncomfortable amount of time. Jeremiah raised an eyebrow at my remark and gave his signature, smug smirk. "You do the same thing." Jeremiah said in an admiring tone. This was your average Belly-Jeremiah Banter or as we like to call it 'Jelly Banter'. Which always resulted in Jeremiah winning, but it was still always fun.

Jere playful hugged me closer to him and rustled my hair. "Stop it Jere! You're messing up my hair!" I scream-laughed as I tried to fight him back. This play fight lasted for about a minute before we realized we were too close for our own comfort, or at least I did. We both paused before Jere whispered something to break the uncomfortable silence. I don't think it was supposed to sound the way it was supposed the way it did but you know Jeremiah. "It's more fun when you put up a fight, Bells." That sentence, his hands intertwined with mine, his cologne wafting off his undone polo, button-up shirt. We both sat there in silence again as he looked me up and down and let go of me once he heard footsteps approaching. "I hope you guys brought me something!" Jeremiah put on his friendly, warm smile when seeing Steven and Conrad arrive back with snacks.

I tried to brush off what just happened when Con and Steven came back but it seems like Jere didn't wanna forget what happen. There was clearly tension in what just happened, but we wouldn't admit that. Steven started the movie back up and we all squished together once more, I eventually got used to it but I couldn't help Jeremiah's eyes stare at me the entire time. Yeah, we were sitting next to eachother but c'mon, you're really making it obvious here.

I ate some popcorn, watching the movie start back up, Conrad and Steven were distracted by eachother and the conversation of what they were doing the next day. I was fixated on the movie, but Jere was completely taken by me. I looked at over at him, and gave him a 'ya-need-anything?' grin and he just shook his head. I forwarded my attention back to the TV when I felt a head on my shoulder. It was coming from the direction Jere was sitting in, I couldn't help but blush just a bit. "Sorry Bells, I'm tired." Jeremiah whispered. I figured maybe Conrad or Steven would notice what was happening but then again they were too fixated on something stupid.

Why was Jeremiah being like this all of a sudden? He was like.. a Golden Retriever. Clingy, Excited and Loyal. I pat Jere's head, I couldn't hide my faint blush, so I rested my head against his to hide my reaction. Everything that's happened— still left me conflicted on what happened. Jere's never done that anything like this before.. but you know what they say about change.
