Eric said clearly annoyed.
"Woah woah chill before I go over there and tell her you've been staring at her like she's a tv"
I said smirking as I'd finally gotten his attention.
"Guy calm down abeg "he said as his attention turned to me.
"Bro I don't get you if you like her ask her out na?"I asked resting my head on my palms, showing interest.
"She'll say no man"he muttered looking like a sad pouting baby and I felt pity for him.
I decided to play the matchmaker and get this two lovebirds together....

It's been days since he called me beautiful and he's been ignoring me completely,this was pure torture he acted like he liked me and I thought he actually did,I've already developed feelings for him and there he was sitting peacefully when the girl he called beautiful is right here and he's been ignoring her.
Relax Ella boys refer to alot of girls as beautiful and you guys only spoke once so how do you expect him to like you,your mom has known you all your life and she does not like you.
Maybe this voice was right, if my own mother can hate me then I don't blame him for not liking me but I felt drawn to him he was so handsome with dark eyes ,jet black hair, chocolate skin and a beautiful smile and he was so cute when he was nervous,I loved the way he spoke so honestly...

He said it like he meant and now he's snubbing me,I honestly felt pity for myself the first boy I ever liked is ignoring me just great.
"Ella!, What's up with you na?"my thoughts were brought to an end by the loud voice of Valerie Akpotha my loudmouth friend,she was too vibrant for her own good.
"Ella you're zoning out again"Valerie said interrupting me again, "geez Valerie free me abeg"I replied annoyed at her constant nagging.
"Abeg abeg don't yell at me I just wanted to show you my new crush"she replied apparently provoked by my outburst and I remembered she had promised to show me her new crush during break.
"I'm sorry babes I'm just tired"I apologized to her"no wahala just look at Jerry's table do you see that hot bowl of chocolate sitting with him well that's the boy of my dreams?"she replied quickly. Wait Valerie's crush was Eric?,my Eric?.
He's not yours so stop calling him your Eric.
My conscience was back again and it was right again a boy who barely spoke to me was not mine."Ella focus he's friends with Jerry so talk to Jerry for you know you guys are close"Valerie requested and I groaned what have I gotten myself into?.
"Ok fine I will when I have the chance"I replied her probably too quickly and she was quick to reply "you and Jerry have chemistry together after break do it then".
God help me I muttered.

3rd person POV
Jerry was sitting at the back of class for chemistry and he had a bored expression on his face as he stared at the window right next to him, almost bored to death and once in a while Ella would turn to the back to watch him after a while the bell rang and the chemistry teacher Mr Joe left the class, the English teacher was absent from school so she took the opportunity to use the free period to approach Jerry.
She got up from her seat and walked over to his seat nervously "hey Jerry "she said obviously tensed, "what's up " he replied his face brightened up as he raised his head to her "how's it going Ella?"he asked, "I'm good " she replied quickly, "Jerry I need to ask you something" she said , "ok go on" he replied sounding prepared as he shifted his seat closer to her while resting his head on his arm which was resting on the arm of the chair.
"Well I just wanted to ask if Eric talks about Valerie " she asked, Jerry stared at her with a puzzled expression on his face and he smiled before replying "well nope not all he just keeps talking about you", she flushed with embarrassment "well he can't talk about someone he's ignoring" she said with a defensive tone. Jerry suddenly understood the situation and smiled before he said "well he's a weird kid if he's ignoring you cos he won't stop talking about you" he smirked before walking away leaving her confused yet happy.
Well that was fun and I smell drama cooking in this love triangle. I'm loving Jerry's matchmaking attempts, So Ella's mom hates her 🤔 well that's surprising I wonder what's going on between her and her mom or perhaps something happened who knows.
