𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐘 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐌𝐍'𝐒 door to see her still sleeping, she smiled at her for a second then went over to her and shook her a little trying to wake her up, autumn rubbed her eyes mumbling something about five more minutes but lacey just pulled her off the bed.
" get up please auttie " lacey said walking over to her door and closing it behind him. autumn groaned getting off the floor going over to her closet. looking around for what to wear. she grabbed a white top with a little sunflower on it and mom jeans. she went to her bathroom to do all her stuff and slipped on her converse trying not to fall. again. she ran downstairs and grabbed her water bottle and met lacey in the car.
" how was ur sleep? sleeping beauty. " lacey asked sarcastically. autumn just rolled her eyes and put her bag behind her. a few minutes later they get to school and autumn spots these 4 boys walking into school. hm wonder why they are looking at me.. she got pulled out of her thoughts as she got pulled away by none other than dylan henderson .
" oh hey dyl " autumn yawned.
" how are u tired? " dylan rolled her eyes.
autumn shrugged. the duo grabbed there books and headed to science class, if they had science first. the only class belly never understood. dylan basically dragged autumn over to the seats in the back, autumn was in the second to last row next to a empty. hm. mr Clark started talking about something to do with brains autumn thinks.? autumn got pulled out of her thoughts as she heard a door slam. the whole class turned there heads to the door to see a pretty red head. autumn no. a girl with fire red hair. autumn admired her features as she looked around the class, soon making eye contact with autumn, autumn quickly looked down. when she looked back up, she heard her say something.
" it's max . " the redhead said.
" excuse me ? " mr Clarke questioned.
" no one calls me Maxine it's max. "
" oh well welcome aboard max! " mr Clarke smiled getting back to his lesson. autumn noticed the empty seat next to her. shoot. she saw the redhead, sorry max approach the desk and sit down. before max could see her staring she grabbed her notebook and started writing whatever was on the board. autumn felt eyes on her but she didn't bother to look who. she didn't really care honestly.
𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐘𝐋𝐀𝐍 sat on the stairs, dylan was talking about this boy she liked. Lucas Sinclair, he was always hanging out with those other boys and dylans annoying twin brother, autumn didn't really talk to them that much. autumn found herself looking at the new girl. not staring. looking. she saw her walking over to her and dylan. autumn quickly put her hand over dylan's mouth to shut her up.
" hey you seem cool, my names max " she stretched her hand out for autumn to shake.
"uh- uhm im auttie.. sorry i'm autumn people just call me auttie. "
" hm well bye stalker. " max said throwing something in the trash and walking inside. autumn took her hand off dylan's mouth and dylan looks at her with a weird look.
" what? "
"look behind us " dylan turns autumns head and they see the group of 4 boys digging through the nasty trash. ew.
" and u like him? " autumn whispered pointing to Lucas. dylan shrugged and pulled autumn up pulling her inside. They walked over to there lockers pulling out there math and English because they had diff classes. autumn walked to math and sat a her usual table. alone. until she saw max mayfield walk in and come over to her HER! table. ok autumn maybe that's a little over reacting. she finally snapped out of her thoughts to hear what the redhead had to say.
" is this seat taken ? " the redhead asked. autumn shook her head and the redhead sat down. autumn saw the popular girls walk in glaring at her.
" hey dwarf. didn't know you made a new friend. hm? " donna said with her little goons behind her. I just continue to look down. she pulls my face so I look at her.
"huh smelly answer me.?! " donna slightly yells at her well the teacher isnt in the classroom. autumn stutters over here words until she hears someone stand up for her.
" how about you fuck off and leave her alone? " the redhead waves them off with her hand. they scoff and walk away.
" thanks you didn't have to do that, I could have handled it. "
"well it seemed like you weren't "
" your right I wasn't gonna do anything.. " max laughs and looks up at the teacher who just walked in. hm the new girl is kinda cute.. Wait no autumn stop u can't like a girl. what will people think. you don't like the new girl. autumn gets pulled out of thoughts once again by the bell, saved from the bell once again. autumn and max walk to there lockers together.
" so why did that girl call u a dwarf? " max questioned. belly shrugged.
" I know your lieing autumn. "
"fine she calls me a dwarf because of my height. " autumn shrugs as she watches max turn around looking at something behind her locker door. autumn moves to her side to see who. oh god not these dummies. she looks to see dustin and lucas. they look at her and wave. gives them a weird look then a little smile.
" hey max hey auttie "
" don't call me that. " autumn mumbles
" uhm ok. well we were wondering. "
"we were wondering if you wanted to go trick or treating with us? " Dustin asked. the girls just gave them weird looks.
" well not like that, we heard that you are new and have no friends so we were wondering if you wanted to go trick or treating with us? "
" im not new ? " autumn shrugs. max laughed under her breath a little. the boys look at autumn and roll there eyes a little well atleast lucas did, speaking of lucas I wonder were dylan is.. belly just goes back to real life and these weird people in front of her.
" so we're gonna hit up loca Nora if you wanna join. " Dustin added. autumn looked at match for answer.
" hm we'll think about it. " max says grabbing autumn's arm and pulling her out of the building. They could hear the boys yelling something about were they are meeting. But they wrte already out the building.
" are we gonna go? " autumn looked at max for a answer once again.
" maybe, do u wanna? "
"eh I have dylan so i don't know, I'll think it, bye Maxie! " autumn says winking well walking over to lacey's car getting in and lace started to drive away.
