mason - pretty

this one's kinda short but cute (and corny ☺️)

you and mason are sitting in his room with a dim light on.
musics playing and you guys are just sitting talking.
the music is low but you can still hear it when it's quiet.

"what's this?" you ask
"oh here look i'll turn it on for you" he says as he gets up and walks over to the white circle thing on his desk. he plugs in a cord and then you see a dark blue cast of light brighten the room.
"whoa" you say amused
"it has stars too" he says with a slight smile.
you lay back on his bed and look at the white dots on his ceiling.

your admiring the cool light of the night sky as you feel weight bring down the bed.
you turn your head to see mason laying down next to you.
you turn you head back to look at the stars on his ceiling.

there comfortable silence between you too as welcome and goodbye by dream, ivory is playing on low volume.
you feel his hand grab your as he rubs his thumb on the back of your hand.
rubbing imaginary circles.

"it's so pretty" you break the silence.
"not as pretty as you" he reply's
you roll your eyes playfully as a smile grows across your cheeks
"shut up" "your so corny" you say with a slight laugh.
"you know you like it" he says
you smile and close the gap between your lips.
you both pull away after a few seconds and go back to admiring the night light he set up.
"maybe a little" you say.
