valerie's pov
im going to a concert today, my girlfriend olivia wanted to go so i got us both tickets to see some girl named billie eilish. "valllll hurry upppp" i hear my girlfriend say downstairs "wait i'm changing!" i yell loud enough for her to hear me. "you've been changing for an hour come on pleaseeee" i hear her whine from downstairs.
i make my way downstairs seeing olivia sitting on the couch "babe do i look good or not" i say looking at her "hmmm i think you look amazing" she says looking up at me leaning into me to kiss me, i grab her waist and kiss her before pulling away "as much as i want to kiss you we gotta go now"
we get into the car and i start driving towards the stadium where billies preforming tonight. once we get there i get out the car and make my way over to the passenger side and open the door for olivia "i'm so excited" she said grabbing my hand and dragging me inside
as the show starts i look at my girlfriend and smile, i love her and i'm so glad i could make her happy. i look up and see a lot of flashing lights and then suddenly a girl jumps out the stage. she immediately starts singing and my girlfriend starts singing and jumping
god this is so awkward i've never listened to her music before, i'm legit just standing here like an idiot while olivia screams and jumps around like a kangaroo possessed by a hyena, it's ok i love her for it
i feel the girl stare at me a couple times and i just smile at her and she smiles and winks at me.. suddenly she jumps off the stage walking towards our side of the barricade grabbing peoples hands while singing. she gets to me and my girlfriend and she puts a note in my hand and grab olivia's hand after before making her way to the other side
"meet me backstage, you can bring your friend if you want" i look at olivia and tap on her shoulder showing her the note, she looks at me in the eyes and screams "OH MY GOD" she screams
when the show ends i grab olivia's hand and i walk towards the backstage "hey you can't go in there" a security guard says "they're with me" i see a 5'4 girl with red roots say "oh i'm sorry ma'am!!" he says before he steps aside "come on in" she says. olivia practically drags me
suddenly we're all in a room with a bunch of makeup and stuff "oh my god billie! i'm your biggest fan!" olivia says as she walks over to billie to give her a hug, billie spread her arm for a hug "i love you so much!!" she says while she hugs olivia
we all start talking when suddenly olivia's phone starts ringing "i have to take this, i'll be right back" she walks out frantically. hm weird "is it okay if i stay here till she's back?" i say looking at billie hoping she'll say yes "yeah of course" she says smiling at me
its been an hour and she hasn't returned, i checked her location and it says she's at her house. i didn't leave because billie fell asleep on my shoulder and i didn't want to wake her up. she just preformed and she's tired so i understand
i woke up on the couch "where am i what" i say barely seeing a thing. "you're with me silly" i look up seeing billie with some ginger guy "who's that guy" i say still tired "oh he's my brother, finneas!" she says giggling "hi finneas" "hi....??" he says stretching the hi out "valerie" i say "hi valerie"
"do you wanna eat breakfast with us?" billie says "sure id love to" i say sitting on a chair, i hear my phone ring "where are you?" i stare at the text before opening it "fuck i fell asleep on the couch waiting for you and forgot to text you, i'm gonna get home right now"
i stand up and grab my keys from the desk "wait, before u go i want you to have this" she hands me a note with her number on it "text me when you get home alright?" she says putting her hand on my shoulder "..alright" i say turning around before walking out
billies pov
i watch as valerie walks out the door, i feel kind of sad that she's gone.. before i get to think more finneas starts talking "what's on your mind?" he says smirking at me "it's nothing" i say giggling "doesn't look like nothing to me" he says raising his eyebrows "oh shut up" i say playfully hitting his arm "hey what was that for!" he says spreading his arms in a goofy silly way
i wake up in my room and i immediately check my phone to see if val texted me...

thank you so much for inviting me backstage, really enjoyed hanging out with you :)
she's so.. cute. i sigh and put my phone down, "she has a literal girlfriend, billie" i say to myself. i look up and see claudia standing at my door with her jaw dropped "oh shit. uh hi claudia, i was uh reading a book!!" i say trying to appear calm "yeah no i don't think so, tell me everything" she says sitting on my bed
"...but the worst part is that she has a girlfriend" i say ending my rant "damn u must really like her from how u described her" she says giggling "if you tell anyone about this i'm seriously never hanging out with you ever again" i say looking her dead in the eyes "okay damn calm down i won't tell anyone i swear" she says putting her hands up playfully "not even finneas?" "not even finneas."
it's 2pm and i seriously can't stop thinking about val.. the way she has perfect blue eyes and soft shiny blonde hair is driving me insane. god i actually can't do this. i take my phone out my pocket and click on val's contact and i call her

"billie hi! how are you?"
"i'm good how about you?"
"im going good, what're you up to?"
"nothing really, just taking a walk with shark"
"is that like your dog or something..?"

"i thought you were crazy for a second"
"wow okay i see how it is"

"just uh checking up on you and your girlfriend"
"we're doing okay.. uh are you sure that's what you wanted to talk about? you don't seem so sure"
".. i'm glad you guys made it home safe.. i got something else to ask you"
"yeah?"
"do you wanna.. idk maybe hang out later? just you and me.. as friends?"
"yeah sure! i'd love to, just text me the address and i'll be there"

i couldn't do it, i don't know i just.. she seems happy with her girlfriend, i can't just ruin their entire relationship plus i barely know her. i'll just get to know her
