It was Leah's idea to go to a club, not that it was a bad idea at all. It was just Kate, Caitlin, Leah, and I tonight. Luckily for Leah and I, we didn't have anything going on tomorrow. Caitlin and Kate had practice. We all rode to the club together and I had an inkling that we would all be staying at my apartment tonight.

Leah and I had called a truce for now on the posting embarrassing pictures of each other. Though, I'm sure it would return quickly. I have a problem with posting bad pictures of my friends on my spam.

The place we were going tonight was definitely more laid back. There was live music, food, drinks. It was definitely more of a chill place which was nice. We found a table before going up to the bar to get drinks.

Being responsible, Kate said she wasn't drinking alcohol, which I understood. Someone had to be able to get us all home. I was only going to drink a little, that was the plan anyway.

"Cait," Leah says, tapping Caitlin's shoulder. Kate didn't even look away from her phone, knowing that if the name came from Leah, she was probably trying to get Caitlin's attention.

Caitlin looks down at the girl, "Yes, baby?" Caitlin replies and Leah looks at her girlfriend in awe. They started dating in September, only after almost two months of knowing each other. They were good together though. They were almost never apart from each other.

Leah covers her mouth, walking away from our small group to compose herself because Caitlin called her baby. I try to hold in my laughter as I watch her stand a few feet away from us, grabbing ahold of Kate's arm. Eventually, I can't do it. I let my laughter out, hiding my head in Kate's shoulder.

Kate wraps her arm around my waist as she looks up, "Why are you laughing so hard?" she asks, looking down at me. I explain what happened as Leah comes back over to us, continuing what she was going to say to Caitlin.

"Okay, okay, compose yourself," Kate says, laughing softly as well. Fortunately, no one was looking at Kate and I as we tried to stop our laughter. We looked like a bunch of idiots.

After we got it under control, we were able to order drinks. We spent the rest of the night talking, listening to live music. Leah made Caitlin get up and dance a little bit. Kate held my hand under the table almost the whole time or she had her hand on my knee.

By the end of the night, Caitlin and I were only a little tipsy (her more than me) and Leah was more on the drunker side. Before we had even decided to stay at my apartment, I had texted Florence to let her know that we were all sleeping there tonight. Being the only sober one, Kate drove us all to the apartment and we all walked inside, Leah acting like she wasn't drunk. Caitlin still had to help her.

It didn't take long for the two of them to be passed out on mine and Florence's couch. I placed a bottle of Ibuprofen on the coffee table for Leah in the morning before Kate and I walked back to my room, Bowie right behind us.

I let Kate borrow clothes again, both of us changing in the same room. We really didn't care much. Kate laid on my bed, done changing before I was and Bowie immediately curled up next to her, his head on her stomach.

"Bowie stole your spot, Reya," Kate says with a smile, stroking my dogs fur. I playfully narrow my eyes at Bowie as I climb into bed next to Kate. We weren't even dating and we still shared a bed every time she stayed over.

I shake my head, kissing the top of Bowie's head, "It's okay," I say. Being able to be close to Kate was enough.
