I had the perfect school life I was the best runner In track, Had the best friends, was pretty smart, and never got In much trouble everything was going alright until...."So your not coming to school today?" Rose asked "Nope you all have fun though" I reply shaking my head on the group call "Why not?" Oliver asks "Im just not up to It" I say Cadence starts doing some sort of flip on her bed "But today Isint Conner gonna confess to you?" She asks Im taken back "Wait...we dont know that for sure" I say kind of embarrassed "Everything points to It!" Ciara adds practically jumping all over the place "Dont tell me your scared?" Angel teased "What no!" I yell flustered rolling my eyes "Whatever guys Love yall" I say annoyed "Love you more" They all yelled back then I hung up See the thing Is I do kind of like Conner and maybe thats why Im not going to school but theres nothing wrong with being scared sometimes I sigh turning the tv on and lay In my bed drifting to sleep happily and peacefully
*Ding* *Ding* I hear my notifications ringing as I try to get out of bed I slump and reach a hand to my nightstand picking up my phone and slowly blinking my eyes open "Huh?" I thought reading a unfamilar text "Find Conner" Rose said my eyebrows lift I wonder whats happening at school then I get more texts "Ill miss you" Oliver texts "Dont Come to school!!" Angel and Ciara texted I just got texts from everyone...then *ding*
"We love you" A raid of the same text came through the groupchat "Ok what the hell Is going on?" I text but only to no response then A voice message from angel Is sent I hear screaming and loud thumps that sounds like punching against a stall "Leave me alone!" She yelled sounding like she was powering up she sounded like she attacked but to no avail she was getting backed Into a corner then she yelled and someone on the other end laughed "1 down" a low deep mysterious voice said I felt like I was In a horror movie my heart dropped what the hell was that Angels never been overpowered and that cant be traning "Is she okay?" was the only thought that rushed through my head as I ran through the rainy weather to my school as I got there I saw lots of police cars, reporters and ambulances my eyes start to get blurry "No.." I mumble "There were 600 casualties and 348 deaths so far" A report announced I gasp and try to run Into the building but a police officer stops me "You can't go Inside" he says "Sorry" I apologize than run knocking him over I open our classroom door and see lots of bodies In puddles of blood I look around more and slowly walk over to a body that looked like Oliver my best friend since birth can't possibly be dead..."No..." I shake my head my voice breaking up I sit on my knees and take his hand "O-oliver" I cry "E-e..m" He coughs out blood "It was... S-p..." he coughs "I'm going to save you" I cry running out the building and laying him on a stretcher outside I wave as the doctors take him In the truck I run back Inside looking for the rest of my friends I remember I heard banging on the stalls and head to the girls bathroom seeing Angel lay down In a puddle of her own blood mad a feeling of sadness rush over me It looked like some type of power had been pierced through her chest I fall to the ground slowly placing my hand on her heart I didn't feel a thing I put my hands over my eyes tears began to fall and I pick her up and run her to a hospital car after finding my other friends In not so good states I rush them to hospital beds as well after that I headed home and turned on the news to understand what actually happened the headline read "Ability Academy In Georgia Attacked by Speed Force!! "The speed force?" My mom and I asked curiously at the same time we were so intrigued because I had the ability of super speed meaning my speed was enhanced which is why I was so good at track but that also meant I was supposed to be a part of the speed force and I wanted to but I didn't know they were killers "They left a note saying," the reporter opened the note on Live television and read "This Is just a warning, The speed force will not be taken lightly anymore. We want revenge against the academy" She stopped terrified to continue "Xoxo, -" Before she could finish a shadowy figure appeared across the tv and swiftly moved taking her off screen she screamed but it quickly stopped "Was she killed that fast?" I thought me and my mother watched In shook "Not even the training academies are safe" My mom Shaked her head the shadowy figure appears on screen with a now bloody women and slowly breathing "This is a message to all the people In the speed training program" he charges up and she drops to the floor "You either join the speed force training camp or you fight In the resistance either way don't be caught on the other side" the shadowy figure than swiftly moved out the screen and the news went to a static "What do I do.." I think to myself.
