You're the one who kept me sane.
You took me to the place where my thoughts mean something,
You made me more creative, focused, and loving.
I'm proud of who I am when I'm with you,
I'm selfless and thoughtful, confident and amused.
You make me smile bright and have amazing dreams,
Positive thoughts and memories.
You make me outgoing and passionate,
There was never a time with you that I regret.
The farther I get from feeling your high,
The more numb I fall to forgetting how to feel alive.
You made me eat right and stay strong,
Though I know you're an addict, I can't see how you're so wrong.
It's been 466 days since I've inhaled your beauty,
Filling my lungs as you help pursue me.
No matter how much you have helped me accomplish,
I have to live without you and who I was to miss.
