Extended Summary: 𝑉𝑒𝑙𝑣𝑒𝑡 𝑊𝑎𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑁𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡
Harry Potter is dead. The last of the resistance and the Order of the Phoenix have been jailed or hunted down. Voldemort has taken his seat as the true Dark Lord of Britains Wizarding World, with the rest of the world watching as the dictatorship spreads. There is no where to run. There is no where to hide. All hope is lost as the last remnants of the knowledge of how to defeat the Dark Lord are fading.
But in the velvet of the night, the most unlikely of heroes take plight in the form of a runaway muggle born witch named Emeline "Emi" Aguilar, a reluctant Draco Malfoy, a death-seeker with nothing to lose named Alex Dunne, and a coward with the hope that brings them all together named Neville Longbottom.
The race for the seven Horcruxes is on. After all, only one can live, while the other survives.
