Once leonardo comes inside from talking to his friends inside i pretend like nothing happened. he opens the oven and burns his hand on the cookies like a stupid ijiot. i take them out and we eat them together in silence because i was scrolling on tiktok. when i look up from my phone i see him staring at me.
"what are u looking at" i say
"whats with your attitude" leo responds
"i don't have any" I reply and he looks offended before he says "you know my friend wants to see you"
"so why didn't you let him" i ask
"oh so ur into him" he sounds like it matters to him
"no i didn't say that but why do you care"
"whatever" he sighs dramatically before getting up and going upstairs. i wonder why hes being so sassy if he doesn't care. i just keep eating my food and ignore it until i get up and go to the bathroom.
whilst im on the toilet letting it rip i hear an annoying GRATING voice banging on the door telling me to hurry up so I remind him that it's my house and my bathroom and he was lucky i let him anywhere near me. after i get up, wash my hands and open the door i see him standing, towering over me because of our height difference (like oh u want me...gulp)
i didn't say anything but he says thank you and goes in the bathroom. i go lie down on my bed and shortly after the annoying blond comes in my room. i pet my dog as i scroll on my phone bored with nothing to do.
"what do you want" i say rolling my eyes and sit up
"my friends are back" he says. "Can i say hi" i say, he seems annoyed for some reason but tells me to come and we go outside the house.
"Whos this girl ur with leonardo?" one of them asks. "I have a boyfriend" I said trying to avoid the question even though I knew it wasn't true Leo didn't know that yet. his expression changes, he was significantly taller than me so when he looked at me he looked down with a serious face but didn't ask anything else.
"are you sure you guys aren't a couple?" another friend of leonardo's asks.
"i guess not" Leo mumbles. "What?" I asked even though i'm pretty sure i know what he said.
"i didn't say anything." he replies. I go back inside the house and later at night Leonardo comes to my room.
"Why didn't you tell me" He asked me. I knew fully what he was talking about but I asked what he meant by that.
"you act like it matters it has nothing to do with why you're here" i explained.
"so you do have a boyfriend" he says walking closer to me.
" I don't" i say.
"good." he mumbles.
