Bzzt— bzzt—

Kim Rok Soo groaned at the sound of his phone from beside him, it was too early and it was a weekend, why was someone calling him at this time? He fumbled at his bedside table for his phone, eyes widening at the caller ID "Stupid dog🐶", automatically translating here to Choi Jung Soo.

What was this idiot doing, calling him at this time? He rubbed his eyes drearily and quickly clicked on answer call,

"What."

It may have come off as rude, but whoever calls him at 5 AM on a weekend deserves a bit of rudeness.

"Hey Rok Soo... can you come pick me up?"

Choi Jung soo's voice sounded sad— Choi Jung soo. Sad. He could even hear the heavy breathing from the other side and the background noise of passing cars.

Nope. Nevermind this man did not deserve rudeness. Being woken up early in the morning or not.

They had only recently gotten back to talking and being friends and Kim Rok Soo had only recently gotten back to being ready to kill anyone who hurt him.

He jumped out of bed and into the bathroom, grabbing his clothes as he ran, holding his phone against his ear with his shoulder, running as fast as he could.

Honestly he was like this with only two people in the world ( not counting Lee Soo Hyuk) and that was Choi Jung Soo, and Jang Suhye.

So when he was woken up at 4 AM in the morning, by a frantic call from Choi Jung soo, he was already putting on his coat and grabbing his car keys because he was not leaving Choi Jung soo sad and alone.

Where the hell was Lee Soo Hyuk when his partner was sad? Kim Rok Soo had just found another reason he would like to move teams, and his name was Lee Soo Hyuk.

(The whole list goes as follows:

1. It's awkward to work with your ex as your superior all the time.

2. Suhye.

3. Number one is the really big thing.

4. Have I mentioned number 1?

5.Lee Soo Hyuk made Jung Soo cry. Unforgivable.

6. Lee Soo Hyuk. )

He ran out of his apartment, not even bothering to lock the door. Running suddenly out to the stairs, not lazy enough to wait for the elevator for once.

The parking lot wasn't a very full space, with plenty of empty slots for him to run through as he raced to the car, opening and closing the door with a loud bam!

"Jung Soo? Are you still there? Can you tell me where you are? I'm in the car already, do you want me to get you anything on the way?"

He was speaking a lot more than he usually did but he didn't care, he hurriedly thrust his key into the ignition and drove out of the apartment parking lot. Speed limits be damned.

"I'm, sniff — at the front of the cafe near the um— uh apartment, how far are you now?"

Oh god Choi Jung soo was crying, what do you do with crying people?

"I'm about...hopefully 15 minutes away now, I'll try to speed up, just wait there for me okay?"

He was lucky there wasn't much traffic so early in the morning or he might have resulted to running through the morning rush hour.
