Jaune's life wasn't easy. The news of his fake transcripts made everyone turn on him. The people he thought he could trust abandoned him. His family disowned him. They either hurt him or turned a blind eye to his torment. Jaune was soon expelled. Ho...
Another Taoist, a middle-aged man, ran around Jaune like a ninja. As he ran, he left images of himself behind. Soon, Jaune was surrounded by his foe's duplicates. They held shurikens in the gaps of their fingers. With great speed, they hurled the projectiles at the blonde.
As they were getting close, Jaune quickly spun around. After he stopped spinning, he unfurled his hands, dropping the numerous shurikens to the floor. Soon, the duplicates merged until there was only one left.
Another Taoist, an elderly woman, slammed her hands to the ground. Suddenly, stone arms rose from the ground. They flew out, but Jaune leaped high, avoiding the rocky beatdown.
One Taoist, an old man, took out a large scroll. He unfurled it, revealing paintings of beasts. His right index and middle fingers glowed with ki. He placed them on a painting. Soon, a mighty eastern dragon flew out, heading out for Jaune.
"Energy Make: Board."
An energy-like platform was created. Soon, Jaune angled himself, aiming right at the mighty dragon.
"Lightning Make: Sword."
A solidified lightning sword was crafted in Jaune's hands.
As the dragon got closer, Jaune shot out, spinning like a wheel. With great force and speed, he tore through the imagined dragon as if it were butter.
He landed safely. The rest of the Taoists were taken aback by how Jaune managed to take down the painted dragon. Unbeknownst to the blonde, that was one of their fellow Taoist's strongest creations.
Suddenly, Jaune leaped away, avoiding the ground crushing where he once was. He looked, only to see a crater. He looked at Maro, recognizing the attack.
"Gravity Master, huh?" Jaune asked smiling.
He undid his lightning sword and stared at Maro, who took a defensive stance. He was about to attack again, but Shiki put her hand out, stopping him.
"He defeated Creed and Black Cat," Shiki said.
"Even without aura, he has magic and is still formidable."
She pulled out a Fuda.
"We need to end this smart."
She threw the talisman to the ground, summoning Setsuki again. Next, she removed the blue wrappings. Suddenly, a surge of overwhelming power enveloped the field. Jaune, without hsi aura, could even sense it.
"Setsuki. Subdue, but don't kill him."
"As you wish, Master," Sestsuki said.
He appeared before Jaune and tried to punch him, only for Mercer to grab the insectoid's fist. Jaune moved forward and jabbed, obliterating Setsuki's body.
Soon, he regenerated back to full form. He leaped back, putting some distance between them.
"Shiki told you to do that with her mind, right?" Jaune asked, realizing why the eager insect warrior backed away.
Setsuki and the other Taoists were silent. Shiki took out another Fuda and placed it on Setsuki, causing him to glow. Soon, he duplicated until there was a score of him.
Shiki wasn't done there. She formed a steeple hand gesture, aiming at the Setsukis.
"Special Technique: Demonic Insect-Steel Body Metamorphosis!" She shouted.
Soon, all of the Setsukis began to glow with ki. In time, their muscles became even larger, surging with even more power than before.
