My heart explodes with excitement. Harry asked me to the dance!
I run up the stairs to Parvati and Lavender.
"HARRY ASKED ME TO THE DANCE!" I scream.
The girls squeal. "We need to get you ready!" Lavender says.
"Are you guys going with anyone?" I say.
"I'm going with Dean," Parvati says calmly.
"I'm going with Seamus," Lavender says as she digs through my bag to find my dress.
Parvati quickly and quietly runs anti-frizz in my hair, throws the back into an updo, and curls the remaining strands into perfect ringlets.
Lavender puts silver eyeliner on my eyes, and pairs it perfectly with golden eyeshadow. she puts concealer under my eyes and on my many pimples, and applies a shimmery nude lipstick.
I'm ready!
