Beckie's P.o.v
How dare he, i cant believe I fell for such a dick head! Urgh! I am so annoyed. I pull up into Kathryn's drive way to see Her boyfriend Barclay's car on the other side of the drive. 'Great' I huffed as I got out the car and locked it as I walked towards her door. *Knock Knock* "Hey Boo!" She said pulling me into a long hug. Which is just what I needed to be honest. We walked through to the kitchen where Barclay was sat on his phone, he got up and gave me a hug and asked if I was okay. I nodded then sat down on the chair next to where Barclay was previously sat, Looking down at my nails thinkin how I let them get this awful. "Want a drink Bec?" Kathryn asked which startled me "er yeah give us a can of Dr.Pepper" I smiled as she passed me the can. I opened the can as Kathryn started talking "Barclay? Will you pass me that friggin stupid thing?" she asked so undescribtivly which Kathryn tends to do. "You mean the blender babe?" He questioned "Yeah that" she answered. He passed her the blender and called her a dumb fuck which made me choke on my drink. "Im a what?" She asked smirking and pretended to go an slap him, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a long snog whilst going to grab her arse. This is deffo not what I needed to watch right now.
I cleared my throat "Thanks for your support like" I said to Kathryn "Dont start Beck, I know its been a shit day but dont take it out on me" she said seriously as Barclay stood behind her. "Im sorry Kath" I welled up an broke down uncontrolably. "I'll get off babe" I heard Barclay say as Kathryn walked round to me and held me, I felt her wave at him as he walked out. The door shut behind him and I fell into Kathryn crying. She didnt say anything she just sat and held me stroking my hair and let me sob it out.
After about an hour and a half I managed to stop the tears from falling, I sat up and looked at Kathryn "Better?" She asked handing me a tissue. I laughed slightly and wipped my eyes, "Yeah, sorry for before" I said sheepeshly "oh fuck off she said, Barclay doesnt get emotion!" She said rooting for something in a draw. After a minute or so she pulled out a menu and passed it too me. 'Whats this?" I asked puzzled " C"mon Beck I'm the blind one, its pizza o'clock!" I laughed out loud and chose a pizza. I didnt half love Kathryn, she only had to do the slightest of things and I felt a bit better. "Is Barclay coming back tonight?" I asked as she was sending a text. "Nah, he is staying at Toms or something i think" she said not looking up. I nodded and told her what I wanted, she ordered it and then told me to go an get a hot bath before the food arrived. I didnt argue as she said I could use one of her Lush Bathbombs which was my favourite thing ever.
After about an hour I had had time to clear my head and freshen up, i came down to find the pizzas and some WKDs on the table and Kathryn was just grabbin some glasses from the cupboard, 'Hey you! Feeling any better?" She asked as she saw me walk round the corner, "Yeah a little I said sitting down at the table and pouring my WKD into my glass and picking up a slice of pizza. 'So do you wanna talk about it?" Kathryn asked I sighed and started from the begining.
Saying how different things had been over the past few months and that it wasnt just exam stress anymore, how every single thing he did was pissing me off and how he didnt even think or consider me anymore. "It honestly felt like we were 2 completly different people being forced to live together" I said feeling more comfortable to talk about it after finishing my 3rd WKD. I ranted about Kieran for about 3 and a half hours talkin about everything and deffinatly agreeing it was over between me and Kieran and although it had been really difficult today it had been a long time coming for us as a couple. It was time to move on and live my life the way I wzanted to, well after my fuckin exams this is.
It was about 4am by the time we went to bed, after we had finished talking about Kieran we had some more drinks and we just talked and laughed about different things that had happened and I was winding Kathryn up over Barclay cos she gets all embarressed and deneys how she really feels and it really funny to do! "Right shut the fuck up now" she said laughing and bright red, "Come on its late, i need my beauty sleep" she yawned and I agreed and followed her to the kitchen to put the glasses away, it was rather funny going to bed as the sun was rising. We walked up the stairs and Kathryn embarssed me in a long tight hug, "Your gonna be okay boo. I'll make sure of it" she wispered in my ear and then walked to her room as I walked to the spare room "Goodnight Boo" I called "Night Bitch!" She called back and closed the door. I got into bed laughing at how rude she would come across to people who didnt know her.
The next morning I woke up and looked at my phone and it was 2:30pm I growned and sat up grabbing my head "Fuck how much did I drink last night" I asked my self pulling the covers off me and opening the bedroom door to see that Kathryn was already up. Plus the fact I could hear her talking to someone who I presumed was Barclay. 'Fuck off' was all I heard her say then I heard a voice I didnt recognise saying how charming she was. I walked into the bathroom and grabbed a shower and got my self sorted and went down stairs. "Hiya dol!" Kathryn said whilst sitting on a chair inbetween Barclay and another lad who i didnt recognise. "Hey" I said as i felt like shit. "You as hung over as this shit here then are ye?" Barclay asked tappin Kathryn on the head which forced Kathryn to put two fingers up at him making Barclay gasp and go "you'll pay for that later" Kathryn laughed and retored "You think your getting any after this ye can ask Tom to pay for it" which made everyone laugh.
Thats his name then Tom I thought to my self as Barclay poured me some coffee and I sat down next to Kathryn. "oh Beckie this is shit bags mate Tom" Kathryn said as I learned forward and gave him a warm smile. "Hey sorry to hear about what happened" he said smiled back. Kathryn knew straight away that I liked him, she could see it in her eyes as she took a sip of her coffee, this look making me blush and look to one side. "Just nipping the loo" Tom said breaking the silence that had been brought to the kitchen.
As soon as Tom had closed the door Barclay looked at me and I looked down "Is he single babe?" Kathryn asked Barclay "Yeah he is actually just broke up with her bird few weeks ago actually." Barclay said sitting down opisite Kathryn. "You'll be fuckin single if you use the term bird again" Kathryn glared at him causing him to raise his hands in defence. "Here ya are Beck! I know you like him! Get back on that relationship bus! I mean he is fit like" Kathryn said patting me on the shoulder "Er he's fit is he?" Barclay asked rasing his eyebrow, "Not as fit as you sweetheart" Kathryn said winking at him followed by a passionate kiss.
Them kissing made me look out the window as I did Tom walked back in "Jesus Christ can you two put each other down!" Tom joked sitting in the chair next to me. "Not my fault he is an addictive drug" Kathryn said turning to sit on his knee.
I looked at my watch and it was already 6pm. We had been sat talking for over two hours now. "SHIT!" I yelled standing up fast "Woah whats up?" Kathryn asked me still recovering from my outburst. "I gotta email my last assignment in by 7 and my mum picked up the car last night!" I was in a panic. I needed to get home. "I'll take you home" Tom said with a kind smile. Before I had time to answer Kathryn spoke up "Aww how lovely!" I glared at her "Thanks" I said giving Tom a weak smile. I gave my hugs goodbye to Kathryn and Barclay and thanked them both for what they did yesterday. Kathryn shrugged it off as always saying she hadnt done anything and just gave me another hug. Tom hugged Kathryn and gave Barclay a man hug that looked arkward, this made me chuckle. Tom then opened the car door for me and I got in.
The whole car journey I had butterflies in my stomach as Tom was such a beautiful person both inside and out and he made my heart beat faster and faster as he started to sing to a song on the radio. "You got that red lip classic thing that I like" it made me smile, I mean I knew him and Barclay were in a band so his voice was gonna be good. But it was so beautiful and soft, it was georgous. As we pulled up to my block of flats I felt slightly disappointed that the car journey was over. I took off my seatbelt and got out of the car, Tom got out the car to help me get my bag out of the boot of the car. "Thanks for the ride home" I said putting a piece of hair behind my ear and looking at my shoes. "Anytime" Tom said with a wink. He leaned in and gave me a tight hug making the butterflies in my stomach rise.
As I pulled away from the hug our faces were extremly close together. Tom leaned in and our lips brushed against eachothers. Reality then kicked in I pushed him off and looked to the ground. "I can't do this' I pulled back and Tom reached out for my arm 'Beckie I'm sorry I didnt mean" he said trailing off 'I just cant do" I was cut off by someone pulling me back. "Took you long to get over me then!" I looked up with anger and sadness because of what had just happend and because some tit had just man-handled me. I looked up to see a familar leather jacket. All the butterflies in my stomach died.
It was Kieran.
