"God, I can't wait to get into high school, Luna. I bet I'll grow to be a chick magnet."
"If you're talking about actual baby chickens then I suppose s- ow!"
"Stop being such a shit head."
"Young man, we do not use this language here! How many times a day do I have to put your game away because of your behavior!" My mom glared at me, snatching my Nintendo player and I honestly couldn't help but whine watching Luna giggle.
"You're lucky she didn't see that punch," she whispered, smirking as I glared at her. "Stop whining and let's get this homework over with."
Concentrating with her around has always been difficult for me. How could I, Lucas, a less than regular teenage dirtbag be around the Luna Moreau, the sweetest, hottest, funniest, yet definitely most annoying girl in our school. Everything else about her makes that annoying part not so bad...
"Middle school is such a pain in the ass, Luna," I whined grabbing my pencil and my text book before muttering, "And you make it even more painful."
"Hey, I heard that. Might as well call for Mrs. Simon to ground you."
"I'm already grounded."
"Hah, good for me. Guess I'll be talking to my girl friends without having a nuisance like you around," she shut her text book seeming to have finished her work and turned towards me with that silly big smile of hers.
I want to punch her so hard but I want to kiss her even harder.
"Nui what? Don't go all French on me with your complements. Just admit your friends think I'm hot."
"Oh my god," she rolled her eyes as I teased.
"What do you talk about anyways."
"Lana's first kiss," she sighed in a hopeless romantic type of way. "Can't believe they all had theirs."
"Damn, wanna change the subject to our first kiss?"
"In your dreams."
