There is a form of pillar called Jin. Every life is upheld by a circle of twelve Jin. To take a life is to destroy the building that rests atop the Jin.
There are some methods, however, that reach the intangible Jin. To destroy the Jin is to erase one of the building blocks of existence. It is a sin beyond all mortal sins. It is the divine sin and can never be forgiven. There is no innocence in ignorance nor salvation in death. Reality remembers your sin and so your punishment shall remain until all existence becomes a lie.
