Chapter -One- The Beginning of the End

"I hate you!" She screamed running towards him,

"Sure you hate me!" He yelled back.

Lilith looked at him, her eyes bursting with flames, Jack was always getting in her way, stealing her stuff, and changing her ways, but today was the last day the two of them would argue over something silly like a doll.

Today was the day all hell broke loose.

"Jack! Get back here!" Lilith screamed.

"Come and get my Lily."

She really hated when people called her Lily, it made her angry, but most of all sad, her dad used to called her Lily, but now he died, in war, so she promised to her mother to never fight if war, ever , to protect herself, and her mother, from pain.

"Lilith... do you see that?"

Lilith ran over to the window, and stared out at a large group of people, coming towards them, is that an- it's an army!

"Jack, we have to find our parents!" Lilith yelled.

They nodded and sprinted to opposite sides of the hallway. Lilith needed to find her mother, she was the queen, and people would be looking for her, that's who they wanted.

"Mother! Mother!" She yelled.

"Lilith!" Her mother screamed.

Lilith saw her mother at the other end of the hallway, and started to run towards her, then she heard a cannon fire, and the next second, a cannon came collapsing into the castle. Crushing Lilith mother.

"Mother!"

Lilith ran over to see her mother, crushed by the rubble of the castle, take her final breaths, but before she dies she told Lilith this,

"Don't be afraid, Lily, don't be." As she handed her her crown.

Lilith stood there and feel to her knees.

"Mother, mother? Mother!!" She was gone. "No! NO!" Her mother was gone forever! They were never going to do anything together ever again, never since, dance, pick flowers, talk, hug, she could never tell her mother she loved her ever again.

Lilith began to screamed, not scared, but angry, furious, mad! They killed her! Killed.

"Lilith!"

Lilith spun her head around to see Jack running her way.

"Jack!" She yelled as she ran down the hall, collapsing in his arms."

"I'm- I'm the queen." She said through sobs.

"No, your mother-" then he realized. "oh, Lilith, I'm so sorry, I-"

"Jack, you don't understand, I'm queen, me." She said pointing at herself, "me."

"And?"

"What do you mean and? I am the queen! And we're at the start of an entire war!"

"Oh."

"Oh? Oh! Really? I am running a kingdom, and all of the people are probably dead by now, and everything is over. My mother is gone." She explained  as she began to cry.

"We need to find you the war room."

"Let's go!" Lilith yelled, she needed to find it, she needed to end this, she needed revenge.

The two of them ran down the hallway, this was serious, a thirteen year old girl, in charge of an entire kingdom? Well this was their reality, the kingdom, hundreds of lives, rest in her hands, the hands of a child.
