~The Promise~ (Sun/Moon X Reader)

~Chapter 18~

You guys talked for about 15 minutes.

And yes, Naptime is officially over but it wouldn't hurt to stay here a little longer.

Turns out he lives with his little sister who's 7 years old and she goes to the daycare since he works here.
Also turns out that his little sister was June.
Looks like there's your reason for liking him.
His parents died when he was 18 years old. They died in a car crash and he's been taking care of his sister ever since.
He made a joke about how he's 25 yet he's still broke. You both laugh and you actually had a pretty great time.

For once.

You never really had a good laugh ever since your mother died. What about your father? He left the moment he found out your mother was pregnant.

After a while when all the food is gone you let out a satisfied sigh "Thank you so much for this. I really wish I could give you something in return."

He shakes his head and puts his hand on your shoulder "you did give me something in return."

You gave him a confused look which made him laugh a bit "Like I said all you had to do was be my friend."

"oh. Well I'm glad we're friends" you smile and you both started to clean up the mess you made and you placed everything in the bag. Except your coffee. There was still a bit left.

As in a bit I mean you still had half of your coffee left.

"(Y/n), I gotta go check up on Freddy and make sure everything is alright before the gang preforms." He checks the time on his phone and looks back at you.

You smile and nod "It's alright you can go. I can take care of myself"

He nods as well "Thanks. Hopefully I can see you later?"

You let out a slight laugh "Hopefully. We still have work ya know"

Noah waves goodbye and you do the same. He leaves the Atrium and you decide to stay behind for a couple moments.

Your smile goes away as you look towards the stage. The only thing you can imagine right now is you with your mother.

Then the white figure standing by the 'Employees only' Door.

But the more you imagine the moment the more you blame yourself.

You continue to imagine the white figure and you remember one detail. The bright red eyes.

Although you try not to imagine the bright red eyes when you look back in the memories.

Those eyes will always haunt you.

You shake your head and you grab your cup of coffee before leaving the Atrium and heading back to the daycare.

'Maybe I should get a therapist.. I've been keeping too much bottled up already...'

No one can help you with this...

You let out a groan, you were getting annoyed by this little voice that always seemed to put you down.

"Can't I ever have a good time without my thoughts ruining the moment?" You said to yourself and let you out a sigh.

Finally you reached the Daycare and you rested your hand on the doors.

For some reason you felt like you made Sun or Moon upset since you were gone for so long. But it would be best if you said sorry instead of just being distant with them again.

Of course you remember what happened last time..

So once you build enough courage you push the doors open and what happened was something you were never expecting.

A group of kids running towards you while yelling your name. Thankfully you didn't fall down.

"I- Uh- Kids?.. what's wrong?.."

"Sun is acting really weird and it's scary!"

By the looks of all their faces, this was not an act. So you walk towards your desk and by your surprise June was hiding under there. You place your stuff on the desk and you bend down.

You didn't know much sign language, actually you don't know any sign language.

"June? Are you okay?" You spoke out softly so you won't scare her. She shakes her head.

As much as you didn't like kids, you cared about June and Gregory of course.

You place your hand on her knee then you back away a bit and stand up.

There were still a bunch of kids surrounding you and all of them either looked scared or worried.

"okay... Kids you stand behind my desk and I'll see what I can do about Sun."

All of them nodded but not long after the lights turned off. But they soon turned on but they were dimmed.

You looked around the place then back at the kids. You smile softly hoping that it would put them at ease but you weren't so sure.

Since the lights weren't fully off you could still see. But you took your flashlight with you, just in case.

You walk around the Daycare with your flashlight in your hand. At random times you would look back towards the desk to make sure everyone was okay.

Some kids were poking their heads out from under the desk. But as you were looking back at the children one of them pointed towards you and yelled "Mx. (Y/n)! Watch out!"

Immediately you turned around but before you could get a good look at whatever it was. It scooped you up into its arms and took you up to the balcony away from all the children.

"HEY! Put me down!" You yelled as you dropped your flashlight and started to fight for your life.

Immediately it dropped you on the floor and you moved back a bit to get a better look at this.. person or whatever.

The moment you saw it your eyes widened. It looked like Sun but also at the same time it looked like Moon.

"I... Sun?! Wait no.. Moon?"

Then a low chuckle came from it.

"Just call me Eclipse... Dewdrop~"
