(Jirou's POV)

"Are you coming home late again?" My mom asks.

"Hmm..." I put my packed lunch into my bag, "Probably. Hopefully not too late today."

She nods.

I head towards the door to strap on my boots, completing my hero costume.

"Be careful out there." My mom says as I reach for the door.

I nod, "I will."

On the bus on my way to Gang Orca's agency, I scroll on my phone, listening to music and staring out the window.

A notification pops up on my phone screen.

Denki: have a good day today !

I smile as I read the text. Another notification drops down.

Denki: can we call later? I rlly need to hear your voice

I tap on it to reply.

Kyouka: sure but I might be back late

Kyouka: is everything ok?

He responds right away.

Denki: yea I'm ok

Denki: just miss you

Kyouka: I miss you too

Kyouka: we need to go on a date or something soon

Denki: yes yes we do

Denki: it's been so long

Denki: just lmk when you're free

The bus pulls up to the stop right before mine. Time to work soon.

Kyouka: sounds good I'll call you later

Kyouka: I gtg but have a good day Chargebolt ;)

Kyouka: I love you

Denki: I love you too <3

Denki and I have been together for about four years now. After high school, we both started working for the hero agencies we had completed our work studies with.

We're still living at home with our families, but that gives us time to save up and be able to move out someday.

I've been working like a sidekick for Gang Orca, but he tells me I've been a great help.

The missions we go on haven't been too serious yet. Denki's been on some more intense missions, and it worries me sometimes, but I know he'll be careful.

"Good morning, Jirou." Gang Orca greets me as I step into his office, "How are you feeling after yesterday?"

Yesterday, we went on a rescue mission at sea. That's how I learned I get seasick, but luckily, I was able to focus on the mission without puking on anyone.

"I'm feeling alright, sir. Ready for the day."

"Good." He nods, "We have a big day ahead of us."

(Kaminari's POV)

"You ready for another great day of work?" Sero says sarcastically.

I sigh. I barely made it out of bed after yesterday. My body is so sore and it hurts to move a muscle.

"No, but here goes nothing." I shrug.

Yesterday, we were with Edgeshot when some villains went on a robbing spree. It took us all day to catch all of them and return everything they had stolen.
