025. 'Bookshelf' Count: 11

Start from the beginning

Gwi-nam jumps forward and Cheong-san jumps to the side.

I limp to them, watching them continue jumping until they both land on the same row of bookshelves, side by side.

Uh oh.

"Stop it," Cheong-san pants.

Gwi-nam holds his hand out, smirking. "Give me the phone."

I sigh and speed up the pace of my limping. I really expected my side to hurt more, considering that I can hardly walk.

"You killed a person, you murderer."

So have I, but okay.

"You made me kill him. You said to prove I wasn't a loser."

"You bastard."

They stand up in sync and start moving bookshelves. I sigh, "Will you guys stay in one place? Please."

Gwi-nam jumps on the bookshelf Cheong-san's on and Cheong-san hit his head on the one in front of him, falling off.

My heart stops, "Cheong-san, get up." I rush over and pull him up, helping keep away as many zombies as I can.

He stands up quickly, avoiding running into any remaining zombies and climbs back up on another bookshelf.

Of course, with his luck, Gwi-nam ends up on the same one as him. Cheong-san falls on him due to the several zombies trying to climb up and bite them making the shelf shake.

"I am so gonna regret this." I mumble, climbing the bookshelf behind them. "But I regret everything, so."

I sit crisscrossed, panting. "Ya know, from here, your position looks kinda fruity."

Their heads snap to glare at me. With Gwi-nam distracted, Cheong-san gets quickly gets up. He grabs a light and pulls it down to hit Gwi-nam with it.

Without letting the pain even load, Gwi-nam pulls Cheong-san's legs and grab his collar, holding his head above the zombies.

"Do you want to live?" He smiles.

"Gwi-nam," I begin. "Why do you want him dead so bad? Just leave him be."

"He threatened to call the cops on me."

"And?" I kick my legs. "Everyone has. Plus, thats the last thing on anyone's minds. It's not going to matter when this is over."

Instead of responding to my extremely logical response, he just takes the phone out of Cheong-san's pocket. Cheong-san smacks his hand which causes the phone to fall out.

I panick and catch it, but Cheong-san snatches it back. It would've been safer with me, but alright.

Gwi-nam scowls down at him, wrapping his hands around his neck. Cheong-san tightens his grip on the phone.

"I'd reccomend you close your eyes, N/n." Cheong-san breathes out. I raise my eyebrows, confused. "No, I'd rather not. This is fun to watch, anway."

Cheonge-san stabs Gwi-nam's eye with the corner of the phone, making blood spurt out. Gwi-nam whimpers and when Cheong-san pulls it out, it makes a weird slushing noise.

I bite my tongue to stop myself from gagging. I'd bust my eardrums if it means I would be able to stop hearing noises like that. Should have closed my eyes.

Cheong-san grabs Gwi-nam's shirt and pushes him off, onto the zombies. I jump on the bookshelf Cheong-san is on. We both look down, just watching him struggle fighting the zombies.

I should go down there. I don't want to lose another person. Because he's a survivor, so he's a person, that's what I mean. Yeah.

Cheong-san grabs my shoulder, his eyes looking like he's ready to scold me. "Don't."
