Personality: Greg appears to be very indebted to his job at ghost hunting, revealing this to the McGee sisters that he believes in ghosts. Just like his sister, brother, and parents, he has a sense of obligation to his family, as the reason they are ghost hunters to being with is because his father was terrified and traumatized by a specter as a boy, and to that end, Greg was raised with the upbringing that "all ghosts are evil and should be dispelled." However, upon meeting Scratch face-to-face, Greg finally changes his goal to dispelling all evil ghosts.
Greg also happens to be a hopeless romantic. The minute he first laid his eyes on Rina, he was enamored by her charm and beauty. On Rina's end, she is not aware of his crush on her as she only sees him as a friend. Nevertheless, Greg is determined to make Rina notice his sincere romantic gestures.
- Greg's hair style is heavily based on Ellis' hair from the My Scene webisodes. Additionally, his signature outfit is based on Ellis' main Hanging Out outfit, which is also from My Scene. Some of his outfits are also based on the outfits worn by Ellis (Masquerade Madness and Club Birthday).
- Greg calls Rina 'Sugarplum' because the maroon color on her clothes are almost similar to the color of a sugar plum fruit.
- Rina initially rebuffs Greg's romantic advances but after the fight against Jinx and the evil ghosts, Rina eventually confesses to Greg that she is also in love with him.
- In the Japanese dub, Greg is voiced by Kaji Yūki. His name in Katakana is written as グレゴリー・"グレッグ"・チェン.
+ His (would-be) seiyū has collaborated with Rina's (would-be) seiyū, Takahashi Rie, in many anime shows, the most notable being Teasing Master Takagi-san, with Takahashi as the titular character, and Kaji as Nishikata.
