how do people learn to hate people for things they cannot control? it depends, of course on the topic, perchance someone learnt a behavior over time that they could've not acted upon such as extremist beliefs and such- those i also frown upon. i personally identify as a girl who also likes other girls, 'wlw' as the internet may abbreviate it too, i don't really care for labels unless it's to explain in simpler terms that tiny little detail about me. it's really nothing crazy, it's just my own personal preference that doesn't hurt anybody. i was the one who ended up hurt in the end when i pushed myself to act heteronormative to fit in with societies still very backwards ideologies. i don't see that there is a "normal", and i definitely don't think someone is more "normal" than me because they hate upon someone that is ever so slightly different from them. this isn't a sob story or anything like that, i am just perplexed that some people say society has come so far when it hasn't at all and i am fed up of it.
