AFTER THE LITTLE cheering up party and everyone had gone home (much to the dismay of a certain sensei) said sensei and Kobayashi were left alone in their spacious home with silence.

It was neither comfortable silence nor awkward silence. Even though if a third party had seen them it would have seemed awkward.

But in reality, both were just trying to process things.

Kobayashi was a mess. Inwardly spoken, that is.

Outwardly she was that calm collected woman, whom nothing could faze her. Her steel blue eyes carried out her indifferent gaze her posture perfect down to the very last detail, her hands working diligently to clean up the place after the party.

Of course, Gojō the self-proclaimed gentleman he was, was helping her. Of course that was under the guise of watching her intently.

Earlier he simply couldn't forget how his heart had beat faster. He couldn't forget how he wished to...he couldn't explain it. It was that urge to just consume someone else, that need to have them right then and there, that looking at them wasn't enough.

Ultimately, looking at Kobayashi brought him all the satisfaction in the world. He felt...content but full of zest simultaneously.

And the best or worst part was; he felt so human.

Most Jujutsu sorcerers forget that they're also humans; their cursed energy giving them a sense of being something different entirely. It was what had consumed Satoru's best friend, what made him believe Jujutsu sorcerers were distinguished from the other humans.

But those feelings just made it more transparent⸺he was human too. And so was she.

"Oi, Gojō! What are you spacing out for, huh?!" Kobayashi scolded her hands on her hips.

Looks-wise she was downright perfect almost. For that alone he thought theybwere match made in heaven. As she stood before him though that condescending, scolding look in her face was unmatched with her visible short height, that she had to look up at him.

It was less intimidating and cute really.

But that was maybe because we're talking about Gojō. Had it been anyone else, they would've thought she was a reincarnation of Sukuna.

"Just admiring my pretty little wife~" He bent down a bit so they could see eye to eye.

"A) I'm gorgeous not pretty, B) screw you, and C) GET TO HELPING ME ALREADY YOU PIECE OF-" I don't think it's necessary for me to narrate what she could have insulted him with.

"For someone who called me a peacock in the past you sure are full of yourself too, Michi-chan!" Satoru complained and pouted his figure slumped.

    SO CUTE?!

"JU-JUST GET TO IT ALREADY, SATORU!" The flustered mess called Kobayashi quickly turned away trying to occupy herself with a new task to seem busy and failed for half a second before busying herself. Hoping he would get it over with already she continued working.

    "..."

Noticing the silence she halted her steps turning around to check on him.

Only to find herself face-to-face (or more face-to-chest) with him. She had to bite her tongue to hold in the curdling scream of fright, battling to be released.

THIS AIN'T FNAF TO JUMP-SCARE ME LIKE THAT YOU INSOLENT OVER-GROWN BRAT!

Is what she would have said if she wasn't busy being stunned and flustered beyond belief.

Because as she looked up at him she found herself looking at eyes with such a beautiful shade of blue uncomfortable to anything found on earth.

He had taken his blindfold off looking at her with such an enigmatic seriousness it made her mind short-circuit.

    "Say it again,"

     "H-huh...?"

"My name. Say it again," he repeated, and if her deduction skills didn't fail her, she'd say that she could hear the slight undertone of desperation.

She shook her head as she analyzed the situation trying to rid herself of those feelings. She felt that she had triggered something in him. She felt that she had awakened something...wounded within him.

Kobayashi wasn't someone to feel pity. She wasn't someone who liked feelings in general.

It was as if though that reality was laughing in her face telling her; your heart think otherwise.

It was a careless whisper carried through the wind, carried out by mellow hands of the air and into Satoru's ears. The sound of her voice soft, almost unheard, but he would always hear her.
