I looked at Sebastian while he knocked at the door. I was nervous to meet his Uncle.

"Who is there?" A low voice grumbeld.

The door opened. "Sebastian and... who is this? I did not expect you right in this hour. Didin't you needed to go to school?" His Uncle asked.

"Sebastian?" I heard a voice calling his name in excitement.

A girl peeked behind her Uncle. She smiled brightly when she saw her brother.

"Hello Anne." Sebastian said smiling.

She stepped aside her Uncle and touched his arm to assure him its ok.

"Oh Hello! Is this your new friend you talked about Sebastian?" Anne asked.

I quirked an eyebrow noticing pretty fast she ment the hero. I looked at him noticing he blushed from embaresment.

"Ah no... this is...Y/n. Can we talk? It's kinda urgent." Sebastian said. Anne observed me curiously. Sebastian looked straight back at his Uncle with a daring look.

His Uncle only hufs and lets the door open for us. I looked at Sebastian. He nods encouradged and lets me in first.

We sat around the table. I was sitting next to Sebastian and Anne. While their Uncle sat on the head of the table with crossed armes.

"So what is so urgent that you dicide to sneak out of school with her?" His Uncle said.

I tensed but Sebastian was good with his words. He knew what he was saying. Everyone listened to his story when they finished they where quite.

"And how long do you think she can stay? It's not for free." His Uncle said.

"I don't know for how long. But I promised her to help." Sebastian Sallow said looking at me a brief moment.

"We will help you." Anne said before his Uncle protested.

"What?" Their Uncle asked in disbelief.

"She has no memories. She first needs to get those back. In the meantime she can stay here and help us." Anne said with a smile. "I would love some company. It's a pain to miss my brother already. It's sometimes rather boring in here."

Sebastian looked at his hands in shame. I wanted to comfort him but I couldent.

"You should not feel sorry for me Sebastian. You should enjoy Hogwarts." Anne said reading my thoughts.

He only nods fumbling with his fingers in silence.

"How are you planning to send her home?" His Uncle complained. "To even know where she comes from? We need to pick up a left behind stray cat."

"I am not a cat." I argued but Sebastian kicked me underneath the table.

"Ow!" I said glaring at him.

"Shut up." He whisperd with a side eye look.

He probably knows speaking against his Uncle would only make things worse. Espacially if he is already in a bad mood. To make this work I need to follow Sebastian. I pressed my lips together and said nothing.

"She can be very usefull." Sebastian said calm. "She could help Anne. Do maby the house chores and help you in the farm. Besides we can't let her wonder alone with all those dangers out there now can we? That would be kinda cruel and egocentric."

"Hm." His Uncle said looking at me. "Alright. For that exchange you may stay. But you do excactly what I say and I want no but. Is that clear?" His Uncle asked still looking at me.
