Kita Daelle's life is fairly simple, spending his days helping his parents with their pub while trying to maintain a normal sleep schedule and care for his reckless best friend. Said best friend's life is far more interesting—it's hard to be boring when your profession is hunting monsters.

Vampires are the worst of them, and nobody hates them more than Alexis Sinclair. He is next in line to rule Amarath, the empire that has been at war with the species for centuries. Alexis is more than fit for the role. He's killed hundreds of monsters, is respected by all, a natural born leader.
